We made an online reservation that we were able to change very easily. We came as a celebration of our anniversary, a special event. They offer a differing menu each week with a few items as constants such as prime rib and filet. It has changed over the years, less frill, more streamlined losing the character of the experience. All... More

We have had Sedgley Place on our "want to" list for some time now. My husband's brother and wife have enjoyed many of their anniversaries dining here, so we knew it would be special. It was. We went with two friends who also had been wanting to dine there. All of our expectations were met with exceptional food and service.... More

My husband and I went with another couple for dinner. I have had better when it wasn't as busy. I have had their lobster bisque which is amazing and every time since they never offer it, which is very disappointing

We were seated at a private table for two in an alcove. The cheese and crackers were on the table. The weekly menu items were described by our friendly and capable server. The choices were difficult as everything sounded wonderful. Each course was delicious, the setting was special, and the experience was one we will surely repeat. The fixed-price menu... More

We make Sedgley Place at least an annual event. The food is tremendous and the service excellent. I highly recommend the peanut butter pie.

If you are looking for something different try Sedgley Place. Out of the way, in what appears a residence is a charming restaurant with seating in smaller rooms (open to each other) with downstairs and upstairs seating creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Each week the menu changes, with the exception of a few regular items and the choices are... More

Overwhelming series of courses included in our meals and very good food (though the crackers and olive cheese spread were somewhat reminiscent of the 1960's). Our waitress was terrific, a real asset to the establishment.

Ever since encountering this place in 2008, I have come back yearly with family and friends (traveling 2 hours from NH) just to come here for the meal! Each meal is served with flair, beautifully crafted, with taste that is out of this world. This time I had the lamb, that sliced like butter, while my friend had the seafood... More

We joined another couple for a birthday/anniversary celebration for a Saturday evening 6:00 pm seating. We all selected the stuffed mushroom caps for the appetizer. house salad was the order for three of the four, with me taking the Caesar Salad with anchovies. We were all in the mood for beef, so prime rib for all with one hold out... More
