Have eaten here for over 30 years. We now live in Florida and come to Maine for summer. One the first things we do when returning is make it to Cole Farms. I read the reviews and am somewhat dumbfounded. I don't know what people expect. It is like that are so ingrained with cookie cutter restaurants they can't deal... More

Not unlike a roadside dairy stand and counter restaurant of the 1950s, this is a fun spot for nostalgia, particularly in the original section. There's a vast variety of foods, including hot beets, chicken salad, burgers, and scallops; the servings are ample and the service is folksy. However, the quality was less than we expected with the scallops probably flash... More

We only went here as we spend 1.5 hrs looking for somewhere to have lunch on the 4th July and were starving at this point. Wish we had listened to the reviews. Service - Shocking. I asked for this specials and was told too much to tell me if I wanted to see them I could stand up, walk over... More

By far the most horrible kitchen we've ever tried. Burger was so thin and tasteless, hot dogs were bright pink for some reason, coleslaw had no mayo, meatloaf was probably laying in the kitchen for weeks. In one word: repulsive.

When you want a taste of good Maine food, Cole Farms is the place to stop and enjoy both the food and the old time charm. ! This restaurant has been serving excellent food for over a half a century with a friendly serve staff. No restaurant survives without those two essentials: namely, good food and good service and Cole... More

I have eaten at this restaurant my entire life. They offer traditional, simple, Maine fare with nice service. Their house salad dressing is the most famous, sold in some supermarkets in New England. Over the past year or two they acquired a liquor license which changed the feel. On weekends now there is live music in the bar, but this... More

Cole Farms has a cordial staff who attempt to seat you as quickly as possible. As this Restaurant is very popular with locals and visitors alike, the wait time for seating may be lengthy. Parking is more than sufficient to the front of the main doors. Food is average in quality.

Pretty large restaurant that really can pack them in. Been in town for many years and a local favorite. Not fancy , but nice enough to enjoy your meal. Many booths, hardly any tables. The food is not fancy, but it's good with pretty large servings at a reasonable price.
