During a White Mountain trip, this restaurant was recommended by our innkeeper. It was located 20 minutes from Albany/Conway,NH. The ride was easy on a Tuesday evening during fall foliage season. I had the seared scallops, and my husband had the trout. Everything was delicious...from start to finish along with a gorgeous view to the garden and mountains from our table. The restaurant was very full on a weekday making reservations essential. Service was spot on and friendly with perfect timing between courses. Highly recommend.More

We shared appetizer, main course and closing course. Started with steamed mussels. Some of the best we have ever had. Next came the salade Nicoise. Very good - everything excellent except we did not agree with their cooking method of poaching the tuna instead of...searing it (some of the tuna was tough and I could not eat it). For a closing course, we had the cheese and sausage platter (a la francaise) very good. I really enjoyed the margarita we had as hors d'oeuvre and my spouse had a very good glass of wine with meal. Suprisingly low bill for such a very good meal.More

We visited the Oxford House for the first time and we were not disappointed! Our server Kasi took exceptional care of us in spite of the Inn being very busy. The food was perfectly presented and prepared. I would highly recommend visiting this establishment and...we will be back again.More

You know, people go to Fryeburg for the fair in the fall, and yet here on Main Street is this hidden gem, an upscale, elegant, beautiful restaurant and friendly staff, excellent food and incredible atmosphere. There's even a jazz barr in the stone basement. Can't...say enough about this place. It's pricey - don't want to kid you - but it's so worth it. The food is completely unexpected. If you are looking to truly get away somewhere quiet and private, this is the place to go - romantic, quiet, pretty and good.More

Wow! We are glad you found us and had such a wonderful experience. We are a bit of a "destination" restaurant, but are so honored to hear from guests that some drive as far as an hour and a half to enjoy dinner with us....More

Salads were good. Problem: waitress didn't bring one person's pierogies. We waited at least 5 minutes after salads were served, then asked where they might be. She'd forgotten to put in order for them. We *specifically said* to not do so at that point *if...it would mess up the timing of the rest of dinner.* She said it wouldn't, placed order. They were excellent, but ... as feared ... that made the fish dinners cold and almost inedible. Very generous helpings on the pan roasted chicken were good. Desserts were just OK.More

We had a wonderful dinner on a quiet night after starting with drinks at the bar in the pub. Our table was at the picture window; perfect. We shared the butternut squash pierogies for our appetizer. I had the grilled maple brined porkchop with greens...and baked beans, he had steak frites with parm and parsley fries. For dessert he had the carmelized apple bread pudding. He is a bread aficionado and said that it was the beat he's ever had. I had sweet cream honeycomb ice cream served with butter crunch toffee and a cookie. The ice cream actually had pieces of honeycomb! Our sever, Claire, was so friendly and nice. We truly enjoyed our relaxing and satisfying meal.More

We went recently for my daughters birthday! They accommodated with a birthday candle in her dessert!! :) We ordered the...coconut curry shrimp, butternut pierogies, bibb salad, filet mignon, pork chops, chicken, pumpkin pie, s'more and apple bread pudding. Everything was exceptional! OH!!! :) The Dutch Chocolate Martini is soooooo yummy!!! You cannot go wrong with this restaurant! My whole family loves going here, just wished we lived closer!
