Enjoyed a very nice dinner here. The restaurant was not too busy and we sat in the front of the 2 connected dining rooms right next to the bar. The waitress was knowledgeable and we had good service throughout the meal. We tried the rabbit perogies - they were good but could have used some more seasoning. Beef filet with... More

Celebrated New Year's Eve here and had an absolutely wonderful meal, the food was delicious and prepared perfectly. The dinning room though busy was quite and the service was excellent. Most importantly you were able to choose from an extensive menu. The only disappointment was they no longer prepare table side dinning, something many hope they will reconsider.

Stayed at the Harraseekett Inn and dinner was included. Excellent wine list. Our server was attentive and efficient. I started with the fall root salad with pressed blue cheese and blue cheese dressing. This was an innovative and tasty dish. My husband started with a seafood sampler that included oysters, shrimp, lobster claws and crab. It was delicious. For our... More

We enjoyed a really good meal here on our first night in Maine. Their lobster crepes complete with button mushrooms in a sherry sauce were a perfect appetizer as was the lobster stew. Both warmed us on a chilly, rainy night. Their wine list offers a nice selection at reasonable prices too.

We try to get up here once a year, their All you can eat Sunday brunch is that good! Considering it includes lobster and other chef prepared dishes, $ 39.00 is reasonable. It has been rated # 1 in Maine for many years. They cut their delicious lobsters in half to make it easy to enjoy with the melted butter.... More

Tucked away in the Inn is a delightful little secret. The Maine dining room. It offers a quaint bar and excellent dining. If available, try the chateau for two, Wow !

We usually eat in the Maine Dining Room during our visits to the Harrasekett Inn, this year was a bit of a surprise, they have done away with table side preparation, and most of the wait staff is new, Will give the staff an 'A" for effort but not quite as good as the former staff. The menu is definitely... More

Ordered a bottle of wine before the meal, the waitress brought it to the table and asked if we were sure we wanted a full bottle. Then rather than allowing one of us to taste the wine, she poured two full glasses and set the bottle on the table (white wine) which should have been kept chilled. When we made... More

My husband and I stayed at the Harraseeket Inn during our visit to Freeport. When we booked our room directly with the inn over the phone we were told that since we booked this way we would receive complimentary breakfast buffet and afternoon tea each day of our visit. Well, the breakfast buffet was really, really good. The buffet is... More

The Maine Dinning Room was very good. Portions a little large. Great ambience and friendly staff. Great local ingredients and prepared just right

Description
Our waitress forgot our coffee & lines were long for popovers/prime rib otherwise I would have given 5 stars for service/ambiance. This was our 2nd time. Celebrating my b'day weekend. We were here a year ago & absolutely loved it. The variety of food from lobsters, prime rib, eggs cooked in various ways, dansom plum champagne infused smoothie soup with creme with mint to the absolutely yummy chocolate decadence cake, blueberry pie & so many other desserts are only some of food served at this delicious Sunday brunch. We will definitely go there again next time we're in Freeport, Maine. It's in the Harraseeket Inn. I've had Sunday brunches at other 5 star hotels in USA including Hawaii, Europe, Japan & Canada but this brunch beats them all
