Very disappointing! Can not recommend the omelette. It was served with the egg like a taco shell filled with ham, mushrooms and a very small amount of cheese - waitress took our order and a different waitress brought the check - when I showed her...the omelette taco, she didn’t know if that was right. No one came to refill coffee or check on quality of food. There must be other places for breakfast in Freeport.More

I apologize that you were disappointed with your visit. Sounds like we dropped the ball with your service, not our usual style! Our Omelets are made with the guests desired ingredients folded inside the omelet. I have never thought of it as an egg taco!...More

This is a small busy breakfast restaurant. We ate here multiple times. The food was hot and delicious. I bought one of their cinnamon buns, this bun was as big as a pit and covered with gooey icing. A meal in itself. This is a...friendly place with customers service top notch. Another hidden gem that the locals love.More

I arrived after 2pm and there were perhaps three or four other small tables with customers, out or twenty or so tables in the place that had no other customers. I was reading a magazine, not in a rush and enjoyed some coffee. It was...a very simple order: two eggs, hash browns and raisin toast. In a rush or not, why would such a simple order take twenty minutes? So it must’ve have been perfectly prepared to take that long, right? Nope. The eggs were so runny, they could have been served in a juice glass, a goopy clear and milky liquid. There were two rectangular hash browns that appeared to have gone through deep oil frying, at least twice. I cut into one of the hash browns with my fork and oil oozed out onto my plate. I do not like to complain and rarely do, but this was ridiculous. It was one of those minor, yet unpleasant, disappointing and surprising experiences where you wonder: does the waitress (or cook) not like me? Even the defensive waitress said she had never once seen such an unappealing breakfast served there in all her years. Really? Then why serve such an unhealthy, poorly prepared, unappealing mess? I used to go to the Freeport Cafe years ago and returned a couple of weeks ago and then again today. I will not make that mistake againMore

Friendly, fast service on a busy summer Sunday morning. Be sure to order the biscuits grilled - came flaky, warm, buttery. Very clean place, too! Gave us a positive note on which to depart from our Acadia trip!

Arrived for breakfast at 7:00 AM on a Sunday with son and daughter-in-law. The restaurant was not yet very busy. Our order was a Western Omelet with home fries, no toast, two orders of jumbo pancakes with bacon, a side order of hash browns and...a side order of two scrambled eggs. When our order was delivered we received a Western Omelet, home fries , one order of jumbo pancakes with bacon and a side order of hash browns. Eventually we were able to get the waitress’s attention and ask about the missing part of the order. Ten to fifteen minutes later an order of jumbo pancakes and bacon was delivered with a “sorry for your wait!” Never got the scrambled eggs but also not charged for them. Disappointed that the order was messed up and that the staff were not more apologetic for the inconvenience of delivering my order way after my son and daughter-in-law had finished eating. 🙁More

Great service and good food. I ordered blueberry pancakes with blueberries and whipped cream on top, with real maple syrup. Beautiful presentation, and they were delicious! Service was very friendly, efficient and helpful. I would definitely go again and recommend.

We went here for Breakfast on Father's Day morning. AS you would expect the line was out the door even at 830 in the morning. We waited about 15 minutes outside before entering to discover there was also an inside line, which was another 15...minutes. Waiting 30 minutes to seat a party of 5 on Father's Day, or most Sundays actually, isn't too bad I suppose. I think they could do a wee bit better by taking names and size of the parties to be seated instead of straight forward first come first serve, but hey, they're doing a booming business so they must know what they're about. The Server was attentive and quick, and the orders came out fairly promptly. The food was all executed well and it was obvious why they have the reputation that they do. All in all, a very pleasant experience and I wouldn't hesitate to return at any opportunity.More

Hi there. They don't have those 2 types of fish that I recall, but they have a couple of other options. They do serve fried seafood.
