We went here for lunch this past Monday. Fast and friendly service and large portions for a modest price.

My companion and I stopped at the Harvest House for a late lunch. Our server was very nice and proficient. We both ordered the lobster roll with French fries and coleslaw for $19.95. The lobster rolls are larger than the usual lobster roll. They were perfect lobster rolls, an example of the best of Maine. They were buttered and toasted... More

My friend and I go to Bethel each spring for the New England Mineral Conference. We have enjoyed our meals here each time. The staff always seems very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This time we had a Senior Special of baked stuffed sole. The crabmeat stuffing was excellent. I thought my rice pilaf was very good. This seems... More

Our waiter was the caliber that I would expect at a much fancier or more expensive restaurant. The food was fantastic. My husband's burger was cooked just right and I enjoyed a very homemade roast pork dinner with all the trimmings. Our toddler was one of many children there, a good family environment. I've been going to this restaurant since... More

Waitress #291 Megan was great! She provided good service and the recommendations of clam chowder and wine along with our meals was excellent. This is a country diner. As fancy as the chains but with it's own style. It's clean, comfortable and friendly and worth the stop.

Went in for dinner. Wanted chicken tenders. On the specials menu there was a hand breaded chicken tender appetizer special. The chicken tender dinner though was frozen tenders. Opted for a burger, which was hand made and very good. Good service, pleasant employees. I would compare it to your home town, mom and pop, home cooking comfort food restaurant. Decent... More

Horrible. Unfit for good people. Don't order pork chops. Needs a new owner, manager, cooks, wait staff, recipes. Might be a good idea to have the Board of Health check it out.

We had breakfast at Harvest House. They had a brunch menu but we wanted just bacon and eggs. The waitress was very accommodating and pleasant. Food always consistently good.
