This is such a great little place! We enjoyed a breakfast burrito comfortably socially distanced inside. Our burrito, the Bobbi Lane was super tasty. The employees seemed genuinely happy to be there and the overall energy of the cafe is pleasingly welcoming! We look forward...to returning :)More

I am working remotely and living in a camper van, so am always looking for good (safe) spots to work from. This checks all the boxes! The staff was super friendly, and the Bobbi Lane burrito was great. They even had a gluten-free wrap. The...food IS a little pricey but worth it for the quality, plus I was happy to pay more (and tip more) as they let me stay and work longer than usual. I will be back!More

The person who took our order seemed distracted and was not friendly. It took a full 30 minutes to receive our small order and they were not busy. The tacos were good but small and they fell apart easily with only one small corn tortilla...per taco. Plus, they were expensive for what you got and there was no side. We were disappointed.More

Good food, good variety of sandwiches/wraps, soup, salads. Nothing fancy but fresh and well done. Lots of healthy juices and drinks. Casual, comfortable environment for visiting friends and grabbing a bite.

Good coffee, limited pastries...no pie! :-( Too open and scattered around seating for our tastes. More like a bus terminal atomosphere

We happened upon this place by finding it online as we traveled. It’s a great community gathering place apparently and there are many shops in the same building. Quite an eclectic place. I had the BLT with duck bacon and a cup chowder. The chowder...was excellent - chocked full of lobster, shrimp and other goodies. It was thick and hearty. Would have been better if it were actually hot. I can imagine it would be! Also had the duck bacon BLT as I was trying to be adventuresome and it was actually quite good! It was thick and tasted a bit like ham. We finished off our meal with a toffee bar which was Lao quite tasty as well. You will enjoy this place if you check it out. As a side bar, my husband had a grilled chicken panini with chips and my daughter had a turkey sandwich as shown in the pictures.More

My family and had driven up from Portland on a Sunday morning on the way to Bar Harbor for the next leg of our vacation. We stopped in Ellsworth hungry and ready for a nice lunch. Our quest did not start well. Of the first...three places we tried, two were closed (on a weekend, mind you, because no one goes out to eat on a weekend during peak tourist season) and one had a long wait. We kept on walking up the Main Street and spotted the Rosie the Riveter inspired sign for here and decided to give it a try. It worked out so much better than we could have hoped. I am glad we couldn’t eat at the first three places because I highly doubt they would have been a better experience than here. There is a wide variety of cool and creative sandwiches at Flexit. They average about $9 but are worth it for the flavor and quality. I got the Bahn Mi and found it excellent. It even came with a lovely scoop of pearl couscous. My wife had the Beet and Kale burger and loved it (she shared a bite with my and I can confirm its excellence). Our daughter got an egg sandwich, always one of her favorites, which was just under $5. She devoured it happily. I also want to add that the food came out quick and everyone was nice and friendly. If you can’t already tell, we loved this place. This is an excellent choice for lunch when in Ellsworth. It is a perfect example of how what seems like bad luck at first - not seeming to be able to find some place for lunch - led to an amazing lunch in just the kind of place we love. I walked in aggravated and hangry and left happy and satisfied.More

We stopped there fora a late, 1:30pm lunch. We ordered the special lobster roll which was perfect, lots of lobster meat, accompanied but a slaw on the acidic side but fresh and tasty, plus s bag of chips. The only complaint is that they must...have only one person preparing food as these lobster rolls took a full 30 minutes to obtain.More

So my girlfriend and I came here, recently new to the whole Gluten-free lifestyle. So when I saw Tacos, I was extremely excited. She was also excited, being We are used to salads an meats an cheese eggs etc. Hands down was an amazing experience,...the tacos came with a salad, all of it you could tell was organic an fresh, just absolutely amazing. I recommend whether in town for a visit or you’re local. We’ll definitely be back to try some more foods & dishes soon 😊 -J & JMore
