We stopped here for lunch before heading to Mt. Desert Island. The fish and chips were very tasty, as was the cole slaw. The salad my friend ordered was very good. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked tasty. We will stop here again.

Great experience here, stopped on our way to Bar Harbor for breakfast. Our server Pat was helpful and attentive. The grilled muffins are a MUST try.

They serve breakfast all day, and it was worth it. I had scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, blueberry pancakes, and coffee. All of it was excellent. I would have licked my plate if I could. Service was wonderful. I will definitely be back.

We liked the food and my daughter loved the burger. It was very juicy and the toasted bun was a plus. Place was not crowded but we had to wait a while for our order to be taken. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way out of MDI. Wanted blueberry pancakes one more time and Sylvia's did not disappoint. We would not have tried this place if not for the good reviews on Tripadvisor. It is located in a very old shopping center, but the place was clean and cheery. Very friendly service and good food at... More

This is routinely great for breakfast and lunch. Always good food and good service. Quite a lot of specials daily. A shared bathroom with the mall so expect a walk.

I love corned beef hash but all too often it is as ally, soggy mess. Sylvia's Cafe nails it perfectly. Freshly made hash, not salty, not too much potato, delicious corned beef flavor. Kudos!!! I have only been to Sylvia's for breakfast so can't vouch for lunch, but I have a hunch lunch is really good too. Breakfast offers several... More

Two of our group attempted the Hibernator. One succeed. This is a great breakfast spot. We came in with a party of 15 (weekday morning) and were greeted promptly and received excellent service from Pat. Everything we ate was delish (biscuits and Garvey were great, and we are southerners). They have GF options also!

Hubby ordered sausage gravy and biscuit with side of beans. The beans were a little on the sweet side. The sausage gravy was right on. Heaping serving of the gravy loaded with sausage. Good flavor, I kept eating off his plate. I ordered the cinnamon raisin French toast. Very good. Would return.
