Talk about delicious! And GIANT portions. Could have easily split the burrito or the nachos but we got both. Did not disappoint. Plus they had some great music playing (Saosin) when we walked in. We will be back.

This place…… My wife was looking for a place to eat and found this place. We walk in thinking it was a restaurant with tables and such. Walk in with music jamming, nobody is wearing a uniform, so we were thinking “what the heck”. Decided...to eat here, and glad we did. The staff was friendly, and the food was absolutely great. We were on vacation for 9 days, and ended up going to this place 3 times. Awesome food.More
This place I enjoyed, and I ate here twice when staying near Ellsworth for three nights. The Bass Hog burrito was fantastic, and I had a more basic Build-Your-Own a couple of nights later. Decent beers available, too.
We loved this place, the food was fantastic. My wife and I each got a wrap and they were so big we only ate half and had the other half for lunch the next day. The outside seating in the back was perfect.
Stopped for lunch when traveling through the area. Glad we did. Tried a wrap with grilled roast beef, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Spouse had chicken salad wrap. Hearty portions and tasty. Took about 20 minutes for food to be ready as sandwiches are freshly prepared....Nice patio outside in back for outside dining.More
We stopped here as someone had recommended it to us. It was a good call! A group of us each got different wraps in a bowl. I got the turkey driver which had smoked turkey, provolone, bacon, tomato, salad greens and an incredibly flavorful mayo....My container had all I could eat for lunch. One of my friends got her bowl 'upsized' to a salad and it was a very generous portion. All of my 'wrap' ingredients were fresh and the tomato was a picked fresh from the garden tomato. I got lemon pellegrino to drink which was perfect for a 90° day. We ate outside in an enclosed area behind the restaurant. The tables and seating had umbrellas for shade, were spaced well apart, and were comfortable. I also want to note that the bathroom was pristine, despite it being busy. Last, the person working the counter was knowledgable, helpful and patient!More
Tasty for the whole family. Sweet potato with avocado was great. Vegetarian BYO with added lettuce and tomato was also a hit for picky eater. Love the alternative tortilla types too.
We have tried to give this place a few chances over the years, but the owners' haughty attitude towards customers is only surpassed by the rancid wraps that they serve. The soggy wraps are over-stuffed with bland mush and produce that is not fresh.
First visit here with the family. Ordered the Boss Hog. It was good and tasty. Service was plenty fast. I do recommend this place for lunch or dinner. The family liked their orders as well.
This is a casual but classy establishment. Clean and super fresh. Very friendly staff. One of our most enjoyable experiences on route to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Don't miss it.
We started going to 86 This when they were located on State Street. They had a wonderful concept for their restaurant. We were ecstatic for them when they were able to move into their new location which gave them a wonderful space to work in...and also a good-sized area for those who want to eat there instead of taking their order to go. The reason I am giving them a score of average is because the quality of the wrap,I always get there has declined. I have always ordered their Yam I Am. It is supposed to contain rice, diced tomatoes, black beans, a chipotle cream sauce, cheese, avocado, and roasted sweet potatoes. The first several times I got the Yam I Am it had several nice big slices of the sweet potatoes that were about 1/4 inch thick and also several slices of avocado. it was perfection, Then there came the evening we had had placed our order to go. When we got home and went to era, I discovered Yam i Am did not contain any sweet potatoes or avocado, none at all. 86 This was now closed so the next day I called them to inquire about it. I thought since they were wwithin 1 hour of closing when we placed our order maybe they had run out of the sweet potatoes and avocado and had meant to tell us when we picked our order up, but the woman I spoke with on the phone said the reason was because that wrap PThad become so popular that’ they had to cut back on the amount of the “key ingredients, the sweet potatoes and the avocado.” I repeated that my wrap did not aaacontain any sweet potatoes or avocado at all and she apologized and told me she was going to leave a note saying my next Yam I am should be complimentary. We eventually ate there again and when my complimentary Yam I Am came it had 2 extremely small pieces of sweet potato in it, and I do mean VERY small, as well as a couple of small chunks in of avocado. It was on the late side and we were hungry so instead of taking my wrap back and waiting in line to show them my wrap just had 2 tiny, and they were tiny, pieces of Yam and 2 little pieces awof avocado. Since that time we have been back 3 times and each time I have ordered the Yam I Am and each time it has had just a couple of tiny pieces of sweet potatoes and very little avocado. Unfortunately, due to this we have stopped going there. You can’t call a qwrap a Yam I Am and then not put in even 1 good slice of yams! If it is a matter of the yams and the avocado have gone up in price, mark the price of the Yam I Am up a to cover that.More
Last week five of us went to this cafe for lunch while on our way to Bar Harbor. The service was friendly and fast, the wraps were excellent and healthful, and the portions were big. I had the Mountain Goat wrap in a bowl with...the tortilla on the side. So yummy! I would highly recommend this place for tasty, healthful food. Wish we had one of these cafes where I live!More
Went to explore the town and ride the train in Ellsworth. This place was suggested by Morgan at the Villager Inn in Bar Harbor. We were so pleased with our lunch! If you get a chance stop in..well worth your time!
Healthier alternative with great wraps and burritos. Funky cute atmosphere and good location right downtown.
We went here to have lunch with some friends one of who has some fairly complicated dietary restrictions. She was able to order a great lunch without too much trouble. My wife and I ordered burritos and split a bowl of the chili. The burritos...we good and the portions were generous to say the least. The chili had a a name that implied it was very hot, “Spitting Venom Chili.” The chili was very good but did not live up to the name. If you were expecting five alarm chili this was not it. The service was good, counter service only. The dining area was clean and well appointed. Chairs were comfortable and we didn’t feel crowded or packed in at all. The only strange thing that struck me was when I paid for our food at the time of order the software for their point of sale system wanted me to input a tip amount. I found this odd because no service or any kind had yet been provided and we had not received any food. I selected the 0% option. There was a tip jar on the counter for receiving tips post purchase. We travel this way often and will return to 86 This again. Recommended for all ages and most palettes.More
