My husband and I recently spent three weeks in Hancock, ME, and we ate at Finn’s three times. The food is excellent. The G.O.A.T. Burger special with onion jam and goat cheese was so tasty. We also tried the loaded pretzel bites, sinfully delicious. We...have not had a bad meal here. The wait staff is very friendly.More

Really enjoyed my fresh Haddock sandwich with homemade chips. Perfect with my draft Guinness. My wife loved her Rueben too. Friendly, efficient service.

I have seen for some reason in some places my review showed a 2.Wrong. It is a solid 5 and the food and service are great. It also showed me as a 5 and I am a 6. so if you see my review and...it shows a 2 disregard it. Get the corned beef and cabbage or a N.E. boiled dinner. It is awsome. I am glad they have indoor seating once again. I will be up twice in the next two months and be sure I will be here. Maybe I can bring Izaak my grandson who lives in town. This is a spot not to be missed. Park in back at City Hall and walk in the back.More

If you are looking for a quaint place and want the pub/tavern feel, this is your place. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is outstanding. We have a home in the area and cannot stay out of this place. The staff recognizes you...and the awesome server in the bar area knows everyone by name. The Irish Nachos are hands down mouth watering. My favorite meal is the haddock sandwich and they have a delicious Shepherds Pie. They have excellent drinks and the holiday selection should stay all year. They do a good job of social distancing and it’s always very clean.More

Every small town should have a place like Finn's, for lunch when out of town visitors are here, kicking back on a Friday Happy Hour at the bar, or ordering takeout. We come from In 'N' Out-ville - California, but the Pub burger wins Best...in Show. Super friendly, attentive staff.More

Excellent food after a long day of hiking. Haddock sandwiches and Finn’s homemade potato chips were DELICIOUS! We finished the night with sticky toffee pudding-no, I didn’t want to try it-yes I MOANED at the first bite. Everything was top-notch!

We frequently visit Finns every time we are in town. It’s a must go to place for us. Sara our server this time was excellent! We ordered the meatloaf and the salmon. Both were great. The chocolate tort and the Guinness chocolate cake was super....Highly recommend this place. One of our favorites and affordable.More

The vibe of this ages-old local pub is wonderful--kinky building, gorgeous bar, and a good assortment of locals. Nice server made a mistake on part of the order and left the mistake for us to consume at no charge! Fabulous chicken artichoke soup--a little creamy...but not overly so, and a unique and well done comfort food for a winter day. The clam chowder was not so good--mostly potatoes and too bland. The grilled cheese sandwich was boring and small. The reuben sandwich was very, very good--full of all the usual goodies and generous in size. It was wonderful to reconnect with Smithwick's red Irish ale, a real highlight of our meal and a reminder of our trip to Ireland.More

They don't take reservations but call 35 minutes before you plan to arrive and chances are excellent you'll have a table. I would call about an hour before and tell them you'll be calling in a half hour. Good choice for... More
