Was here for Sunday at lunch time only because it was nearest to where we'd broken down! All the tables reserved for lunch but we were fortunate that it was a mild sunny day so were able to sit outside in a very pleasant garden. The interior is what most foreigners/tourists would think of as a 'typical English pub'. Apart... More

We had been recommended this restaurant by the AirBNB with whom we stayed. There is a fish and shell fish festival on here from 14th April to 6th May 2017 and I tried the grilled plaice which was super, but there was a wide choice of fishy options. My son opted for the carvery which was amazing loads of choice... More

This a lovely authentic old thatched Inn that has so much character and serves very tasty food. You must try their famous Blue Vinny Soup and the BOUILLABAISSE. Highly recommended for atmosphere and delicious food. A friendly welcome awaits you from the staff. Also the Thatchers cider is lovely too!

Very quiet country pub/restaurant. Food was OK but nothing special and not as good as it should have been for the price.

We walked from the local camp site to The New Inn and were greeted by the Landlord when we arrived. He made us very welcome and found us somewhere to sit as many of the tables were reserved. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We had a lovely evening in this very nice pub. We would have ordered... More
