If you like to drink a good coffee, roasted in Maine, this is the place. Authentic and unique. Nicely decorated.

This is one of the reasons I love this area. Absolutely the best, freshest coffee in the state of Maine, by the cup, or by the bag, or in bulk, beans or ground. Carefully selected beans roasted to perfection, not overly heavy or bitter. Pleasant staff and owners. They supply beans to many local grocery stores; luckily for us they... More

Hidden upstairs in an old schoolhouse (I think) you can find this great spot to pick up a cup of coffee or a bag of beans roasted by two women who really know their coffee and how to roast a mean bean!

First, let me say that I love the 44 North Coffee location on Main Street in Stonington, ME. But the fact that this location is listed on Trip Advisor is very, VERY misleading. Our very first morning on Deer Isle, we programmed this address into our GPS and discovered an unattended coffee urn and a box of stale biscotti at... More

Maybe I shouldn't be reviewing 44 North Coffee because I don't like coffee, lol, but they have great iced tea (and my husband said their coffee was very good). And their pastries are THE best. It's one of the few places we've found in this part of Maine that has a youthful, locals feel. The owners are great and so... More

Melissa and Megan's new coffee house is a gift to the community. It's the new, cool place to meet and work. Great vibe; superb coffee, beautifully designed space. It's seriously "more Brooklyn than Brooklyn" and better too. Bravo!!!

44 North does its own coffee roasting and the coffee was pretty good. Lots of choices. We went to the one in Deer Isle town on the main road. It is easy to miss if you are coming from Stonington. Everyone was friendly, which seems to be typical of the area. We bought a nice cozy there for my French... More

Well... maybe the only place on this side of the island to get a good cu of coffee. The sell all sorts of "French press" coffee makers as well.

Only place in Stonington with reliable WIFI. Rustic but hip feel. Customers and staff friendly and open to conversation. Coffee was above average.
