We were happy to find this waterfront restaurant open and serving lunch on our visit to Castine. Our chowders and seafood platter were very enjoyable and we appreciated the friendly service.

We ate at this fun local spot twice during our 4 night stay in Castine. The atmosphere was fun & casual with tvs to watch sports & live music at night. Food was fresh & tasty. Service was great with good recommendations for tourists from locals.

We were here in September, and not everything was open, so we ate at this restaurant. Nothing about it was spectacular, including one plate that was brought out for bread which wasn't spotlessly clean. We wouldn't eat here again. The pub next door is better.

Casual wharf dining, with a deck on stilts suspended over the water. Great lobster dinner , terrific atmosphere sitting out under the stars. Highly recommend.

This is Mecca for fried sea food. Great beer selection and guitarist in back not annoying. Good menu.

We stopped here for lunch while traveling through Castine. The staff was friendly, and the decor was interesting. We had a lobster roll and a lobster salad, and both were generous portions of quality lobster meat.

Although dockside restaurants are somewhat common along the coast of the Eastern US, this opportunity was particularly enjoyable for us on our first night of a 7-day Penobscot Bay sailing excursion earlier this month. I think small town dining comes with a price though, not monetarily, but with time. Here beside the docks where views of luxurious sailing yachts were... More

... because we didn't stay. We waited until Wednesday to go (closed Monday (okay) and Tuesday). On Wednesday they offered only four entrees and our first two choices 'were not available' ... yikes! They had a number of 'pub' foods on their menu but we were looking for a 'dinner' meal'.

On a recent trip to Castine, Dennett's become our go-to place for dinner. It has a great location by the picturesque harbor. You can eat inside or outside in a protected or open area. We enjoyed the friendly service and the tasty food. We couldn't get enough of the blueberry pie!

Thank purnnyc
