Lobster meat in a light wine sauce with a flaky pastry top. Absolutely fabulous. We also had broiled haddock in butter wine sauce that was very good. The sautéed spinach, smashed potatoes and marinated baby tomatoes rounded out the dishes. Service was great.

No frills local seafood and drinks right on the wharf in Castine. Sometimes a bit of a wait and the service can be slow but everything is fresh and tasty. Lobster, clams, oysters, chowder, etc

Lovely views of the harbor. Food is ok, you definitely pay more for the location. They should have more wAit staff snd kitchen staff. Good place to hang out and have Lunch, be prepared to wait Hor s table during the summer season.

Got the idea that this is primarily a bar/pub..since it looks like the largest and most casual place in town. We just wanted lunch and a beer...and that's what we had. Friendly wait lady...quick service, good food...so we'd say it was a bit above average. Fair pricing and fresh seafood...cant beat that!

This great spot overlooking Castine harbor has all the Maine seafood favorites you want plus some interesting additions. The Summer Salad with blueberry vinagrette is THE perfect summer salad, and don't miss the duck baked beans! Come with the kids and sit on the deck in the afternoon, and then come back in the evening for a fun and relaxing... More

Good lobstah and local favorites. A fun place, great bar, scenic view on the water. Good food... decent prices, meals for kids, good bar. You'll like it!

Great location for a Maine coastal restaurant but the food is very average and the prices are too high.

There's not much to say about Dennett's. It seats many and is a great option if other places in town are booked, has an interesting decor, and a wonderful view. The menu and the fare isn't particularly impressive compared to other amazing places in town, but their drinks selection is better than anywhere else in town, their service is friendly,... More

After taking a a sailing tour of the Castine Harbor and Penobscot Bay with Captain Kate and Captain Zander aboard The Guildive, we stepped off of that wonderful ship onto the dock and the entrance to Dennett's. Three dozen oysters and a few beers later, we concluded that Dennett's is great place to be if you travel to Maine. Perfect.

I had the most delicious Lobster Pot Pie. Lots of chunky lobster with a flaky light pastry on top. This was serviced with mashed potatoes & smokes asparagus (yummy). My son had fish & chips. The haddock fish was delicious. My sisters had scallops and chicken & both were very good. I would recommend this place. If you want to... More
