This place is well worth the short drive from Kennebunk. The lovely dining room has picture windows overlooking the sea. Staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. And the pianist playing gently in the background was a nice touch. Beautiful fish and seafood dishes made us glad we'd booked ahead.

We visited twice, for lunch and dinner. It's a deceptively low key setting and vibe - service is extremely friendly, professional and attentive, so much so it's easy to overlook just how good it is! Food is fabulous - best lobster rolls and chowder in the area, amazing crab cakes, fabulous mixed seafood grill, truffle fries to die for and... More

The restaurant was down by the water's edge and docks....rustic harbor but at the same time so elegant. The staff was attentive and friendly but very professional which is really what I want when I go out....there was a fun sophistication in contrast with the nautical and relaxed white napkin surroundings....did I mention a grand piano and bass playing while... Pier 77 and The Ramp are under new management this summer, and the place is showing improvement. No longer are substitutions difficult or impossible to get. The menu is slightly different, but the food is better than our last visit last year. The service is good, and my only complaint is that the restaurant is still fairly noisy. The food... More

(I will keep this review brief as I'm quite annoyed when Google keyboard crashes and nothing gets saved.) My wife and I had cocktails and clam plate dinners at the bar on a Wednesday night in mid-July. We got to meet the new hard working 7 days a week restaurant manager who went out of his way to make our... More

Located in picturesque Cape Porpoise we recently stopped in for lunch. We started with onion strings for the table, which was an excellent choice and was quickly devoured. For entrees we enjoyed the lobster roll which was unique along with the lightly breaded fried clams and chowder. All were excellent. We will return ASAP

We have been here many many times as locals. We have dined upstairs, and downstairs. This time, we were at The Ramp (downstairs). It was very busy! We knew to expect that. But, it was a longer than average wait for our food. When it arrived, mine was cold. But my dog loved the cold chicken!

We got off on the wrong foot when we were seated, served bread, and no one recognized we were without bread plates. Could happen anywhere. There was a quick recovery, though, as our waiter was attentive, without being suffocating and drinks were served timely. My wife had a humus appetizer which was out of this world and she followed that... More

Sat in the adirondack chairs and watched the sunset. Food and drinks were excellent. Close to Kennebunkport yet far enough away.
