Don't let the simplicity of this roadside stand and colorful picnic tables fool you, this is SERIOUS ethnic cuisine. The Jerk is just fantastic. Ample portions, with varying levels of spice upon request, the food is just filling, comforting, and exotic. Take a chance on this place, you will NOT be disappointed.

The place doesn't look like much but the food!!!! Not our first time there but I have to say how good it is since when I go there are few people and Im sooooooooo afraid it will close one day. Have the chicken jerk or the goat curry. They are both very good. They also have Ginger beer which is... More

We had a great time and will go back. The tables were a little run down but the reggae band was great. They play from 6-10. They used to have a fire but had trouble getting the permits this year and assured us there would be one next year. The place opens around July4th and closes Labor Day. Music is... More

Best jerk chicken; fun and lively; soccer; young teens loved, tasty unique patties, deep smokey flavor, plantains, authentic, best Jamaican food outside of Montego Bay! Leave your bubble and try it!

After years of going by this place, we tried it. We do not need to do it again. It might be a nice spot if you are there for the music. They were offering a coupon......

We've been coming here since 2005. Delicious food and lovely people. Don't let the roadside stand look throw you off. A must during your stay in the area

We spent the night in Maine and after a long day at the beach we were starving. Desperate for food, we were excited to see the sign for Jamaican food but from that point it all went bad. We had to wait forever to even order and eventually they took our order of Jerk Chicken, Curried Goat and Cocoa Bread.... More

Although I am a local resident, this was my first visit to the Jamaican Jerk Center and the food was "okay." It was late September at the end of the summer season so they didn't have all menu items available. My group tried the jerk chicken and pork and found it to be dry with many small bones to navigate... More

Who would have expected to find Jamaican food in Maine. But driving up route 1 there is a Jamacian flag signaling good for ahead. Stoped here for dinner, it was a beautiful night, there was a good band playing, and the food was great. I started with a Jamacian pie, which was great, and I had the Salt Fish and... More
