We stopped by for a quick breakfast of English muffins and smoothies. It’s a lovely shop with tables to sit at. Friendly customer service and all around great vibe. They were out of packages of English muffins but told us to stop by the next day when they were back in stock. We were staying nearby so ordered by phone two breakfast sandwiches the following morning and picked them up along with two packages of English muffins to take home. I know I have mentioned these English muffins a lot in this review but they really are that good! The breakfast sandwich was amazing!

A particularly favorite place for muffins, scones... great soups and sandwiches, fun pastries to splurge on or procure for a friend or party!
Love, love their blueberry muffins, and the hot chocolate is very intense tasty chocolate. We brought back a handful of different decorated cookies for the grandchildren and a half dozen muffins. Score!

The smoothies and sandwiches here are wonderful. Fresh ingredients and there is plenty to choose from. My family's favorites are the Green Dream Smoothie (greens, banana, mango & apple cider) and the Surfside (strawberry, pineapple, banana, mango & OJ). For sandwiches, we often get the Avocado Cheddar Wrap, the Turkey Terrific, or the Caprese. They are also very nice about accommodating my picky eater and making a plain sandwich without garnish. I love the atmosphere, there is a comfortable patio, partly in the shade and partly in the sun. The inside is light and welcoming with a sweet gift shop. They also hire local high schoolers and college students, which is wonderful for our community. Friendly and helpful staff, sometimes under great pressure, as it can get busy. We usually call and place our to go order in advance. Great place and we are so happy they are here!

We have been to C Salt a number of times in our many visits to Cape Elizabeth. Not sure what happened this time. Food was horrendous! My husband asked for a fresh made Italian sandwich and got something that was packaged hours earlier. My avocado toast came with two cold eggs. Yuck. I was so disappointed. Unlikely I will return.

We stopped in for lunch as we were touring the area lighthouses, and had a good meal. Their version of a BLT and a turkey sandwich was freshly prepared and flavorful. Service was good, selection great. Definitely a good spot to have a light lunch.

I stopped in for lunch with 3 kids. We ordered 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, which were good, nice hearty bread and a choice of cheese. We also ordered French fries, and chicken strip. Iordered a chicken ceasar wrap.
The chicken strips were overcooked. The French fries came in a huge serving, definitely one order is plenty for 2 people. They would have been excellent, but they were tremendously oversalted.
The market is charming, and the pastry selection and coffee looked good.

Nice fresh sandwiches an great selection of baked goods, wine, and other local Maine products. A bit on the pricey side, but nice place for breakfast or lunch. Very attentive to gluten free and vegetarian diets, e.g., gluten free bread or wraps.

After heading out to see the light houses of Cape Elizabeth, we drove past the C-salt café and decided to stop. Pretty good sandwiches and a good assortment of freshly made sweets as well. They also offer a coffee and smoothies as well as some snack items.

Visited here several times the past year and always consistently great food and service. I would highly recommend the lobster rolls because they are absolutely the best I've ever had. Pure, tasty chunks of lobster and NO filling! Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and bake goods irresistible.

This is my third experience meeting with friends for lunch so my comment isn't based on a single experience. This latest sandwich was the worse banh mi I have had. The chicken was simply baked, unseasoned and dry. Their interpretation doesn't come close to a true banh mi sandwich. Very disappointed...

Stopped here several times on a Maine coastal trip. Nice selection of sandwiches, salads and soups. The haddock chowder was hearty and delicious as was a cobb salad. The bakery has a nice selection including gluten free options. Nice selection of drinks and snacks . Good place to stop and get a days worth of food if on a trip or dine in.

I loved this Gourmet Market. Food was great. Desserts were delicious and fresh and great coffee. They also have wine, cheese and take out. Staff was welcoming and friendly and store was so clean

Excellent breakfast egg sandwich on their house-made English muffin. Superb quinoa/romaine prepared salad. Our new favorite local spot for food that is consistently good. Delightful staff, as well.

Loved the sandwich selection, coffee bar and general atmosphere. You can take out or eat in. A small wine selection also available as well as nice local souvenirs. Really enjoyed it and went twice.

How can you ruin chicken tenders and fries? Overcook then in dirty oil until unchewable, throw on two tons of salt, and charge $14.00.
