Selected this restaurant over several other choices and was not disappointed. Lunch was delicious. Food extremely fresh and well prepared. Generous servings. Server really pleasant.

This was somewhat in off season but restaurant is open year round. My husband & I came at 11 for breakfast. We both ordered the Triple Play, which included an egg, 4 Pieces of bacon & a big pancake ($8.50)! Husband had the fresh blueberry...& I had the banana pancake. Both included generous amounts of the fruits. Best of all it was cooked to perfection! The waitress was very friendly too.More

The food, the servers and the prices are all fabulous here! I had the haddock chowder - to say I got a generous serving is an understatement. And it was full of large haddock pieces! We eat here every time we go to Camden, and...they never disappoint. Also, you can sit on the deck overlooking the harbor, an absolutely picturesque view. Please don't miss this if you are in Camden! PS - We came back in the morning for breakfast, again delicious and it filled us up for the rest of the day!More

It felt local in the best way. Delicately breaded sea scallops, generous bowl of clam chowder, tasty fish and chips, pleasant waitress.

Breakfast here is always good. The muffins are outstanding, everything is cooked just right, and all of the servers are friendly and helpful. We go for breakfast here at least once a week and it never disappoints. Nothing fancy--just good food, good prices, and good...service.More

Lobster roll still good. We have eaten here about 6 times. This time not quite as good as in the past. The lobster roll was a little heavy on the mayo and they have changed the roll to what seems like a sesame hamburger bun....But still a lovely place to have lunch especially on the back deck.More

Visiting from Florida, if you’re looking for a great traditional breakfast, look no further! I had the three egg bacon and cheese omelette with a side of sausage patty. Since I usually load up with fats and protein in the morning, this was perfect. Portions...are very generous and price was very fair! I recommend 100%!More

Mariner’s is a must anytime I visit Camden. I ordered the fish chowder while visiting in May and it brought back amazing memories of my mother’s chowder. It was absolutely delicious. Food is good, portions generous and prices affordable. A must visit for anyone coming...to Camden. Heather from North CarolinaMore

The McMarriner on the breakfast menu at Marriners might be one of the best breakfast sandwiches in all of midcoast Maine. I had my first one in June of 2020 and thought about it for two years until we made our way back. Thankfully we...now live in Camden and I can have this delightful sandwich any day of the week.More

If you can sit on the back deck there is a lovely water view with a waterfall, I would recommend going once for the view. The service was not good. The food was average. Good blueberry pancakes & turkey salad. Great bacon & eggs. The...clam chowder was just okay. It was a thin cream based broth with potatoes & a pretty good portion of clams. I’m glad we went for the view but I felt like we were in their way. No one was friendly. . .no hello when we got there, no goodbye when we left and no thank you at all. This wasn’t just one employee, no one that worked there extended any common courtesy.More

We happened upon this restaurant at 11:30 on a Saturday; posted hours were 8-2. After waiting for a seat for our party of 8, we were informed that we couldn’t order from the lunch menu - they were only serving breakfast. There was nothing safe...for half of our group to eat so we had to leave. Very disappointing.More

Hubby and I stopped here on our way home on the last day of our trip. Because we usually come through Camden during the summer when the shops and restaurants are super-busy and full, we had never stopped here. But it being April we actually...found parking on the street and decided to give Mariner's a try. I have been on a mission to find the 'perfect' clam chowder and have been disappointed everywhere I order it. It's either too thin or too thick, too bland or too salty, too skimpy on clams or worse, the clams are like rubber. So it was with great skepticism that I ordered a bowl, not expecting much. It was absolutely delicious, chock full of tender clams and potatoes in a savory broth full of flavor and aroma. It was hands down the best I've ever had and I am still talking about it. Hubby had the steak sub and it was enormous and tasty. Prices were very reasonable compared to other restaurants we had been to on our trip. We saw other items on the menu we can't wait to try when we return in the summer. We will most definitely be back.More

I would suggest you email the restaurant. Usually a chef is pleased to share his recipes. Your question sounds like you are writing to the restaurant but it's going to all TA reviewers.
