We arrived for a late breakfast around 10:30 and were quickly seated outside on the deck overlooking the harbor. The server was very friendly and the quantity and quality of food was amazing. I ordered a single egg over easy, bacon, english muffins and tea. It was the largest egg I've even seen (equal to more like two) and I could barely finish it. Cost $7.00 Each of the blueberry muffins and cinnamon rolls we saw at the other tables were big enough for two people. My husband is a big eater and got a small stack (2) of blueberry pancakes and couldn't finish them, even though they were very delicious. I'd HIGHLY recommend Marriner's

We entered the restaurant and it was really busy - you could tell the waitresses were working really hard. But, I want everyone to know when Barbra greeted us to take us to our table she put a big smile on her face. Every time she came to our table she was extremely nice! The food was really great - homemade corn beef hash was the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve eaten a lot because it’s my favorite breakfast food). The blueberry pancake was wonderful filled with lots of blueberries. My spouse enjoyed his steak and eggs breakfast as well. Barbra was very attentive to our every need. Highly recommend this restaurant but go early it gets really busy. The view from the back deck is beautiful! Highly recommend this restaurant.

We went there for a late breakfast around 11 on a weekday and got right in. I suspect there might be a wait during regular breakfast/lunch hours or on a weekend. Traffic/finding a parking spot in Camden is challenging in August. We sat out on the back deck overlooking a creek with the boat-filled harbor just beyond. It was quite breathtaking. Food was good. My blueberry pancakes were perhaps a bit dense and rubbery but everything else was great. We had to wait to settle up as the poor hostess had to seat people while also cashing people out and she seemed a bit harried but worked through it as quick as could be expected. Travelers should try to be laid back right now as everywhere seems understaffed and the staff that are there are worked very hard. Please be kind.

My Wife and I were spending a few days in Camden and we stopped in for breakfast. We sat outside on the deck overlooking the harbor. It is a great setting but that's as far as it went. We both got the same thing, hash with egg's, my Wife clarified "is it home made" yes the server replied, with carrots and onions added. So we were all in, I got poached eggs with mine and my Wife got over medium. The portion was huge but this hash was mushy and lacked flavor, had some large pieces of fat as well. The eggs for both of us were over cooked. We each choose the blueberry muffin as well. That was huge but it was very dense. Maybe it was an off day as there are a lot of good reviews but for us, there are other choices and would choose to go elsewhere.

Extremely under staffed, but food was great.
I’m not sure if this was an isolated incident, but on our recent visit- Monday morning- there was only ONE waitress and ONE bus person trying to serve and check out 15 plus tables. I applaud the waitresses efforts, but the customers were all extremely frustrated. I saw several customers just leaving cash on their tables and leaving instead of waiting for someone to check them out.
A kitchen employee brought our food to the table. He didn’t ask who had what, just put all the food in the middle of the table along with a bunch of utensils and walked away!!!!!
Yes the food we ordered was great, but we were headed to the airport and didn’t have all morning for breakfast. There are too many other options in Camden to put up with such delayed service.

I discovered Marriner's Restaurant last summer and was impressed by how awesome it was. In mid June 2021, my friend and I returned to Camden for a short visit and of course we couldn't resist eating at Marriner's Restaurant again. The food here is absolutely delicious. Everything from the haddock to the scallops to the omelettes and blueberry pie. The chef prepares generous portions of mouth watering food in a cozy setting. There's outdoor seating too with lovely views of the harbor. Freshly brewed New England coffee is served here and it always tastes so good. If I worked and lived in Camden, I'd eat at MARRINER'S RESTAURANT every week. This restaurant is owned by a hard working couple who in my opinion have one of the best restaurants in MAINE.

This was somewhat in off season but restaurant is open year round. My husband & I came at 11 for breakfast. We both ordered the Triple Play, which included an egg, 4 Pieces of bacon & a big pancake ($8.50)! Husband had the fresh blueberry & I had the banana pancake. Both included generous amounts of the fruits. Best of all it was cooked to perfection! The waitress was very friendly too.

We had 2 breakfasts here. It is a cute , casual mainstreet restaurant with some Waterview seating in the resr Prices were very reasonable and portions large. There were lines both times, but they moved quickly. Our waitress was very friendly and fun. The popularity of the place necessitates speed on the part of the staff. I would only ask that care be taken to ensure that food is thoroughly cooked. I had a yummy looking blueberry pancake that was raw batter through much of the inner portion.

Staff was great. Lobster Roll was horrible. I’ve wanted to come to Maine to have a lobster roll most of my life, and could only stomach a few bites - which stayed with me for the rest of the day and night. The owner at our B&B said that they make it wrong, and most everyone thought they were terrible. The place seemed like a great place and I would go back, but order the crab cakes instead.

Our lunch at Marriners lived up to our wonderful memories of our last visit. These hard working entrepreneurs served us excellent lobster rolls complete with great sides - fries, creamy cole slaw and pickles. We will look forward to our next visit!

We happened upon this restaurant at 11:30 on a Saturday; posted hours were 8-2. After waiting for a seat for our party of 8, we were informed that we couldn’t order from the lunch menu - they were only serving breakfast. There was nothing safe for half of our group to eat so we had to leave. Very disappointing.

Been here quite a few times and never disappoints. On the way back from a 5 day lighthouse tour that took us up to Lubec and Quoddy Point, we stopped here for our final lunch as we left the area. A great lobster role for $18 that was huge and perfectly prepared. Chips and pickle side was perfect and my wife had a wonderfully tasty & crispy BLT on sourdough bread. Perfect lunch and superb size at a very reasonable price. What else can you ask for on Main Street in Camden!

I had just come a great sailing weekend on the schooner Mistress and was feeling a little hungry and opted to check the place. This is that classic no-frills place that would be basic go-to on those mornings when you feel a need to get out of the house' The omelet with crab meat was fantastic and the fried potatoes that came with it would be a solid "wingman" with anything coming off a grill. Places like this will always appeal to me. Damn good group of servers too. S.H.

We come here often and have tried almost everything fir and lunch! The lobster roll is our very favorite because there is so much meat on the sandwich. It even tastes better on the hamburger bun which was surprising! The clam chowder is YUM! The triple play for breakfast is perfect! If you want sweet get the chocolate chip pancakes, but I love the blueberry pancakes (not sweet) but filled with blueberries! They give you generous portions and the bacon is cooked perfect every time! Love this place. It’s a diner with quality food!

We visited this restaurant and it was obvious they were very short staffed. That being said, the staff of 2 worked their buns off. Food came out hot and delicious. Kudos to the staff in these tough times!! A hometown cozy family restaurant with good Maine home cooking food!
