I have no idea why this is not a much higher rated restaurant on this site! The food is so good! We only got a chance to have lunch there and if I'm ever back in the area I will try dinner. Now I do...More

Went for lunch with my wife. I ordered the topotes (chips) with a salsa medley (malady?), while my wife partook of the tacos. Regarding the former, I must be fair and say that one of the three salsas provided for my consumption was not all...More

My first visit with a friend for dinner. We started off with a daiquiri (refreshing and yummy), then a salad as an appetizer. We ordered taco and enchilada for dinner. Too stuffed for dessert. The food was so good. Can't wait to go back.

What a gem! This is not your typical taco joint. This is gourmet Mexican and South American cuisine with nuanced flavors, imaginative combinations, and pleasant presentation. I normally can not tolerate heat in my "spicy" food, but they roast the peppers in such a way...More

It really doesn't look like much, and it's not on the water, so it would be easy to miss. We're from New York, and used to good food, and while there, we had pan-seared cod that was as good or better than any foodie place...More

The brussel sprout salad with Manchego is one of the best dishes I've ever eaten, and I don't even like brussel sprouts! The tacos were great too. It's worth a bathroom visit just to go through the kitchen and watch the cooks at work!

My wife and I tried Comida, hoping for a quick, flavorful lunch before getting on the road, heading south to Vermont. Our meal started well with a mojito for my wife and appetizers for both of us. The mojito came quickly, the appetizers, not so...More

Stumbled upon Comida while in Camden to go to another restaurant but this looked interesting enough. The décor was simple and cozy. Our waiter was very good, knew the menu well and answer all the vegetarian related questions that were posed. The Brussels Sprout salad...More

My wife and I are in Camden, Maine in May which should be cool but it was one of the hottest days I've experienced. So here we are in a spicy Latin restaurant. Go figure! Fortunately the food was excellent. Freshly prepared and interesting. My...More

We ate here under previous owners (Mediterranean) last year and loved it and now miss that restaurant. We walked in feeling like things were changed, and they were. New flavors and they are delicious. The new owners have made this brighter and less cluttered than...More

Comida is a Latin fusion restaurant located in the beautiful sea side town of Camden, Maine and inspired by the owner's travel and work in Central America and Mexico. The menu is chef-owner Tom Sigler's inspiration, and is a culmination of many years of culinary training and restaurant cooking experience. The menu is Latin inspired with a uniquely Maine twist, and rotates regularly with the seasons. It features an array of Spanish, Cuban, Mexican, Central, and South American dishes. Comida's menu utilizes Maine's freshest local ingredients, and the food is prepared from scratch daily. We also offer delicious hand crafted cocktails and an eclectic beer and wine list.
