The food is not what you would expect in Maine.... it's varied and always locally sourced and very interesting..... the drinks menu is exceptionally creative also using local herbs and ingredients. A great place to hang, chill and tip a few

Great ambiance! We loved the gf options on the menu. The gf bouillabaisse was delicious and so were the gf fish and chips. Dessert was a lovely creme brûlée. We will be back!

Just a really nice light dinner..ordered small plates and drinks (ample) and had a great time watching the people, which are varied in style, age, and fashion. Worth a visit. Free parking

The rice flour battered cod fillet is fresh - moist - crispy on the outside - generous in portion size and just plain awesome! You have a choice of fries - regular or sweet potato - both are great - but my favorite is the sweet potato fries which are prepared perfectly! There's plenty of other good stuff on the... More

Terrific meal with my family. It's so difficult to find fried fish that gluten sensitive folks can eat. They fry it with rice flour. This place has it all! Including terrific mussels, salads, and cocktails in a unique place.

When I come to town, I take my kids and their friends here for dinner. They eat the vegan nachos, baba ghanoush, lapsang, burgers, hummus and pita and risotto balls. We love to eat here!! The parking is easy too and free. I notice when I eat here that people actually talk to each other. They're not on their phones... More

Stopped for supper with children and grandchildren. Menu has special items for children. The portions were all substantial in size. The fried calamari was very good and is made using a rice flour as the coating, which makes it lighter than many I've had in other places.

Been here several times - always good. The restaurant is always busy, largely due to good menu and great service, as well as lovely location overlooking dam and river. Eclectic art gallery set-up, plus in-house indie movie screenings. A must for parents visiting their well-heeled children at local colleges, but it's more than that. This is a friendly, nicely put... Hostess lost our reservation, offered us a seat at the bar, then became rude and insulting when that didn't work for us. Food was adequate but overcooked.
