Like the setting, people, homemade rolls but nearly gagged when the meal, Wienerschnitzel with hot German potato salad and veggies, came out smelling of greasy rancid vegetable oil and not the sautéed butter smell expected. The pork was so thin that the breading trippled the...More

Everything you would expect to find in a German restaurant. Portions average. If you enjoy a hearty meal with sauerkraut, spaetzl, schnitzels, sauerbraten, sausages, etc. you won’t be disappointed. They have a sampler platter with some of each entree and side. Several choices of beers...More

This has been a restaurant for well over 50 years. It's present incarnation is at least 25 years old, and specializes in German cuisine and beer. The menu is reliably consistent, but the selections have gotten stale over time; new choices are long overdue. But...More

Stopped in without a reservation right after they opened one weeknight evening. Even though reservations are recommended, not having one this night was not an issue. The menu does a good job describing German dishes so that one knows what to be expecting. I went...More

We love German food and this was quite authentic. The atmosphere went right along with the food. They had quite a few entrees choices. Not just German but also American cuisine. Will definitely return when in the area.

We ordered weinerschnitzel and kasseler ripchen, our Richard's favorites, with sides of hot potato salad, red cabbage, and sauerkraut, all delicious. We have the smaller portions, which are plenty for us. Rounded off with Munich Spaten lager, a perfect fall supper. Service is always prompt...More
