Ok, most items are fried, but I had the lobster salad which had a good amount of very fresh and local veggies. The lobster was very good.

Since I last visited Bagaduce I went back to Red's in Wiscasset, frequently cited as one of the best lobster rolls in Maine, and Eventide Oyster Co. in Portland. Red's was just a horrible traffic jam and a long wait for an overrated lobster roll. Eventide was incredible, but definitely not an authentic lobster roll. They have a much more... More

Worth the detour from wherever nearby route you're on. Down to earth and fabulously low key on the bank of the river. You've never had fried clams until you've eaten them at the Bagaduce.

Excellent fries, lobster roles, and fish. But they also have other interesting stuff. This isn't health food, but we don't go to these places for that. Fun place to eat--outside on Bagaduce river. It's the best of these kinds of places on our peninsula IMHO

This is a cute little roadside take out joint. The reviews were great so we picked up dinner one night. The portion sizes are huge so don't over do it. The shrimp, haddock & coleslaw were my favorites. Clams were a bit odd. If you like fried food this is for you. I think my cholesterol went up 30 points... More

We were on a scenic drive when we drove by this place. I had no idea how popular it was or that it had a whole back yard filled with picnic tables facing the water. I'm so glad we stopped! The food was very good and the prices were totally reasonable.

This walk up restaurant has a nice menu variety, but they are noted for their fish and clam meals. The "dining room" is outdoor seating at picnic tables along the shore. We went around 2:00 p.m. and they were not too busy. Our food was excellently prepared -- the freshest of haddock and plump fried clams. Both the cole slaw... More

Honestly I don't get it? It's a good take out. Lobster roll has frozen lobster meat. Hamburger served on a napkin? It's a take out and the food is just ok. We will be back but really?

One of our favorite places to go the food is very good and the scenery is always a treat. Seafood is cooked to perfection . The Haddock and Clams are top notch. The Eagle's flying over to the Horseshoe crabs plus the reversing water flow us fun to watch.

My all time FAVORITE take out joint! OMG the haddock is to die for! The prices are great and the view is one in a million.
