The turkey dinner special on Sunday was EXCELLENT. All the trimmings and ample portions. The restaurant is very small (only 1 side was open and they had about 8 tables). It is best to have a reservation - they turned people away who just stopped in. Only 1 waitress and she seemed overwhelmed. They had several good (and large) desserts.... More

We went to Tom's Homestead Restaurant on a Thursday night. What a delightful surprise! The ambience was charming - the setting is an old farmhouse with lovely cloth-covered tables, gleaming wood floors, and warm paint tones. The food and service were absolutely amazing! We tend to get too full if we have appetizers, but the choices were plentiful and creative... More

I grew up on Pleasant Street, about 8 houses away from Tom's, and never realized as a child what excellent food they had. As a (relatively) well travelled adult, I know what a special treat it was (and is) to have Tom's Homestead in our small town. Truly fine dining with a French flair, and set in the lovely atmosphere... More

We were seated in a wide, sunny bay window which felt like time in Florida for women living in western Maine in winter. That being said, there was no iced tea, or spinach salad because evidently those are seasonal offerings. But the tuna wrap was yummy, the Cuban sandwich huge, the haddock nicely cooked, the chicken salad nicely presented. The... More

My husband and I discovered this gem while traveling Route 302 in Oct. 2015 and decided to stop in for dinner. The atmosphere is quaint and quiet. The service was wonderful and friendly. We enjoy having time between our courses and so the pace was perfect for us. The food was superb and cooked perfectly. I had the Steak Diane... More

Very tasty food. Same service as others have written. Was at least 1.5-2 hours. Seemed to go fast. Filled up fast with walk-ins. We had a reservation 5:00. and were the first ones here. I'd come again.

My wife and I shared our 7th wedding anniversary at Tom's Homestead and absolutely LOVED IT!!! The scallop appetizer was unreal, my filet was so tender you could cut it with a fork and the taste was incredible. Thanks again for another memorable evening. We love your food!!!!!

Having passed this restaurant in the morning we sought to organise a table for two on our return in the early evening, and although addressed bluntly throughout we were allotted a table in what otherwise seemed to be a quiet evening. The place was clean and nicely done out with curtains, table clothes and carpet, which deadened the noise. The... More
