My husband and I are traveling in the north east and needed somewhere to get dinner on our way to New Hampshire. I picked this place randomly but didn’t expect anything out of the ordinary. Holy moly though. I got a sandwich that was absolutely...delicious. My husband though got the ribs. I’m picky about them and never get them out to eat, but these were the best ribs I think I’ve had in a long time if not ever. The cornbread was slammin, and warm, with a maple butter to make it even better. The service was so friendly and helpful, Terri was a hilarious gem of a human. To top it off we got the pudding shots. We weren’t going to but I’m sure glad we did. Absolutely delicious, wish we lived out this way, it would be a regular stop for us then!More
I won't go on & on. We placed a to go order Saturday night and tried to call back to make an amendment to our order. The hostess told us not only did she not take our order, they're not taking any other orders and...hung up on us twice. (She was not apologetic at all.) I was honestly shocked.More
We have been fans of Campfire for some time. Tonight, not so much. It was our first venture out for outside dining with friends. We chose it for ole' times sake. The server was great, but the service was slow and the quality of food was...not so good. The server claimed that the number of takeout orders was causing a slowdown in the kitchen for the actual diners' orders. I just saw a decrease in the quality of just about everything we ordered: overcooked and dry Deer Chips, a very soggy Caeser's salad, a watered down Manhattan, and warm wine. The chicken tenders were fine. We will return knowing that we have enjoyed our dining experience there in the past. I would have given a "three," but I know they are better than that, usually.More
I got the pulled pork sandwich with onion straws. They really weren’t onion straws but still good. The service was fair at best. And for 3 sandwiches and 2 sodas the bill was $53. It was good but a little overpriced.
I had a wonderful hamburger and french fries.. I really gobbled them up. French fries were very good. Prices were very reasonable. The place very busy. Iwould eat there again. Not a foodie stop unless you want something that is typical American diner style food.
Monday night is Prime Rib night and it is amazing, that is if you get it the way you order it. I order mine rare as in mooing and on 2 different occasions it was delivered medium rare. Waitress says thats all they had, never...checked with kitch The last time, several minutes later the table next to us got served RARE pieces. Same waitress both times.
P.S. The scallops drizzled with honey and the steak tips are really very good.
The corn bread and onion rings are amazing.
My only problem is with the service but that seems to be a problem everywhere this summerMore

I have been to the new location twice since it opened. The menu is the same as previous. They have daily specials and I believe they may add some new ones over the summer. The new space is so much nicer and there is a lot more seating. The bar is in a separate area which cuts down on noise.
