Had lunch there on Thursday. It was crowded, but we luckily managed to score a seat for two at the window overlooking the Penobscot River, the best seat in the house!. It really did feel like we were up in an eagle's nest! Quite a view, but we were there for the food! I ordered the meatloaf special and the... More

The Eagles Nest is a nice little restaurant located right by the Penobscot River. This place is known for its seafood, and it's fresh, delicious, and plentiful.

Lobster rolls are supposed to be the BEST. Right on the Penobscot River...don't get motion sick watching the water move by!

Arriving in Bangor, ME on a trip to Acadia National Park, the Enterprise Rental Car representative recommended that we stop at the Eagles Nest before we drove to Bar Harbor. He was right. It was a great stop. The lobster dishes were amazing. I had never seen that much lobster packed into a lobster roll sandwich. Fresh, unbelievable taste and... More

We were in Maine last week and I wanted to get a Lobster Roll and since it was early in the season one of the places we tried near Acadia National Park didn't have them. We were on our way back to Boston and I was determined to get a Lobster Roll. This place was recommended by a nice gentleman... More

Small, quaint diner with limited seating. By the looks, it isn't a place that would incline one to stop in. But that's where the ordinary stops. The service is prompt and courteous, and the food is served quickly. Homestyle flavor and mammoth portions. Try their lobster rolls, haddock, or chowder. For that matter, try everything. You really can't go wrong... More

What a find! Obviously a local best kept secret. The sampler plater is PLENTY of food for three hungry people with the tastiest fish selections, fries and coleslaw. Come hungry my friends..... But stay thirsty as there is no beer! If you are in the area, you must stop!

I can't drive by this place anymore. I have to stop and get either a lobster roll or a lobster salad.

Eagle's Nest is a small restaurant sitting on the side of the Penobscot River. They have excellent seafood and serve very large portions. Amazing Lobster Rolls, Scallops and Clams. The all you can eat fish fry is a true bargain. There are not alot of seats so you may have to wait but well worth it. So go hungry.

It's a rather small place , but the food has a big taste, I had the lobster roll and it was packed full of very good lobster, cooked perfectly, I'm a big critic when it comes to small things and there slaw was 5* as well
