We have eaten at the Rocktide Inn Restaurant many times in conjunction with our stay at the Rocktide. The staff is always excellent. The food has been a mixed bag ranging from delicious to disappointing. The popovers are a treat. On our last visit, the Rocktide ran out of many things we tried to order from rice to strawberry ice... More

We stayed at the inn, which was nice. Great breakfast buffet and egg station. The nights we were there, they had a small band playing for our enjoyment. Service was very nice. Everyone went out of there way to make sure everything was going well. Considering they have two decks a dining room and bar service, I think they did... More

We ate at many restaurants while staying in the harbor. This was hands down the best place. The atmosphere was gorgeous out on the deck, the service was polite and quick, and the food was top notch. The steak and the scallops were both amazing.

Nice hotel right on harbor. Very close to footbridge taking you from one side of harbor to the other....which is important because parking downtown is not easy to find, and this hotel has free parking. Many restaurants nearby, including local lobster pound, as well as many boat excursions. Complimentary breakfast was very good with many selections, including omelet station. Happy... More

This place is trying to be more elegant than most of the restaurants in town, and in some ways it succeeds. Very nice room, with lots of tables with harbor views, including some outdoors. Good cocktail list - I had a dark and stormy which was very good, and even better because they brought a beautiful, delicious popover for the... More

We were in Boothbay to reconnect with our daughter's college roommate's parents. We had reservations at the Rocktide for 6:30 and were surprised how quiet the restaurant was upon arrival compared to other restaurants we had passed entourage. We were promptly greeted and seated. Waitress took our drink order soon after. Unfortunately. it took 15-20 minutes before our drinks arrived... More

restaurant is across the bay from the downtown, so views, especially of setting sun are spectacular. food is better than average in boothbay (lobster, seafood). bread rolls (crispy bread croissants really) are outstanding. the problem is service. is is slow, and inattentive. all waiters seem to be college students, employed only for the summer season,.

This is a jewel of an Inn right on the water in Boothbay Harbor! We stayed in room 151 and couldn't have been happier with the view and room. We set on the deck and watched the boats go in and out. The room was very clean and had all the amenities you need. It's not the Hilton but is... More

Since we were staying at Rocktide why not have dinner the first night at the Inn. We had the Surf and Turf which was good but the Popovers were the hit. The omelet table at breakfast was a treat for us. The buffet had an assortment of breakfast food. Thanks to the omelet chefs, dinner servers and breakfast staff they... More
