We went in to Mine Oyster for a light dinner & came away pretty darn happy. Basically we order several different oyster appetizers and they were all great. The service was good and the prices reasonable.

The upstairs was ok, kinda grimy. Bartender was very attentive and good beer/drink selection. We had our kids with us and they enjoyed the food very much. My husband and I really loved the oysters. Pricey but decent food.

We were driving from Nova Scotia and had to stay over night at boothbay for a rest. Not our first time at boothbay so we're pretty familiar with restaurants... Went to mine oyster since they're open late... had the baked oyster with garlic Parmesan for...More

Mine Oyster has, of course, local oysters served on the half shell, raw or grilled. They offer lobster, fish - grilled or fried, and for others, meat dishes and hamburgers. There is both outside and inside seating and lots of it. Often there is a...More

We stopped in for lunch this past Sunday and almost walked right back out. I realize that it is the end of the season, but please oh please occasionally wipe things down. We stuck to only appetizers and went with the Fried Mozzarella over ratatouille...More

The raw bar had an excellent selection, but, considering the oysters were acquired just a short distance away, I thought they were very expensive for what one got.

A woman at one of the cruise booths highly recommended this restaurant, and as there are so many places to eat, we appreciated the suggestion. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips, although he suspected the potatoes weren't real. My veggie quesadilla was yummy, served...More

It has been a lovely summer for deck dining and Labor Day weekend has been no exception. Many of the restaurants do not have air conditioning so outdoor dining is where it's at! We wanted just a light lunch. This is a great restaurant for...More

I was disappointed when I saw the menu prices for oysters. Until they served the "medium sized" ones I had ordered. One dozen was like buying two dozen oysters elsewhere. So big I had to cut them with my knife to get one on a...More

If there was a half star, I'd have given 2 1/2. Nothing particularly bad, but not much particularly great either. Chowder was good, beer cold, & service mundane. The prices are a bit high - $40 for a dozen oysters. Typical tourist trap comes to...More

Quahogs are common on cape Cod so I'm sure I would have noticed it on the Mine Oyster menu. So, no.
