We've driven passed this place many times after trips to Schoodic, but we finally stopped on May 10 for a late lunch because we couldn't find anything that sounded more sea-foody open. We will definitely go back! We tried the pickled wrinkles--my spouse let me have the majority: chewy and vinegary. Fried clams were excellent, the appetizer portion served in... More

Have been there several times. It is an awesome place to visit with the locals. The steak on Wednesday nights is amazing. Definitely make it a point to try it. They also have a very good haddock burger.

1st trip to Maine and this was recommended for the best paddock around. It did not disappoint. The paddock was the freshest, tastiest I've ever had. The pickled wrinkles were not in season, bit the house chips made on site were delicious as well as the pickled chips. Had a local beer...white with orange...it was delicious. Make a trip there.... Found this on our way to Schoodic Point in Acadia National Park. Good sandwiches and great seafood stew. Lobster, shrimp, scallops and haddock in a thin, creamy broth. Homemade chips are good also. Picked wrinkles are whelks similar to periwinkles (think small escargot) that are pickled and were a good source in hard times for the local fishermen and lobstermen.... More

The Pickled Wrinkle (formerly the Nautica Pub) is the best game in town. It's hard for a local pub to distinguish itself from any local hangout. But some how the Pickled Wrinkle does. While the menu is pretty standard for pub fare, the Pickled Wrinkle sources locally when possible and you can tell with the quality of the food. It... More

We went there after finding Chase's Restaurant closed when it should have been open. Food was very good and portions adequate.

We were visiting with my grandson in nearby Winter Harbor and he suggested we enjoy lunch at the Pickled Wrinkle. Aside from being intrigued by the name, we totally enjoyed the ambiance and the food. I ordered flatbread with shrimp and scallops and my daughter and grandson had what they called "the best burgers" ever. In fact we had such... More

I ordered wings and tator tots. You get a lot for your money and I was impressed by the service as well. Seems like a fun atmosphere type of bar/restaurant.
