Another summer; another great meal at the Palace. The line-ups move fast and truly this place is worth waiting for. We usually get sweet (French Toast) and savoury (omelet) and often start with the Banana Bread. Nothing better for miles.

No tables, no tarted up 'version' of an old fashioned diner, this IS an old diner, staffed with incredibly good-natured people who keep the food moving and the counter seats revolving. When food is really good, I would never complain about the price, because there's nothing precious about this place. It's both basic and superior. They make ordinary breakfast food... More

This is a special little place buried in the heart of Biddeford. I went their for the first time earlier this year to try their decadent french toast - YUMMY - one slice was all I could manage because it was so rich! Counter style dining in this old, historical street car was fun to try . . . Seating... More

We missed this place and had to turn around because it just wasn't what we were expecting. Seriously SO SMALL!!!! We brought two kids and it worked out because they weren't full (I think they only have 14 stools inside with minimal outside seating). Food was good.. palace potatoes are so YUMMY. The waitstaff was amazing, super friendly and made... More

It was good. Not sure all the rave, but i found to be expensive for breakfast for only 2 people over 20.00 nearly 30 for breakfast is expensive.

Small original diner - only seats a dozen of so people, at the counter. There are tables outside on the patio for good weather . Both my husband & I had the Corned beef hash meal. comes with 2 eggs & toast. The hash is homemade and one of the best I have had. The diner opens at 8am -... More

Welcoming and pleasant staff saw to our needs. Food was of excellent quality. The fluffy pancakes were such that they soaked up the Maine maple syrup. Enjoyable breakfast sitting at the counter of an authentic diner from the past. A definite on our list to go again.

The other reviewers are not wrong; this is a terrific breakfast spot. My kale/ham/cheese omelet was just great, as was my wife's breakfast sandwich. The home fries and corned beef hash were both unique and delicious. Coffee was decent, service was pleasant. Our ketchup squeeze bottle was nearly empty, as was the one that was brought to us when we... More

We saw high reviews and wanted to try a different place for breakfast. Off the beaten path but in center of town. I had an omelet that was offered as a special. It had cheddar and parmesan cheeses with fresh asparagus. It was very good. Most menu items came with an interesting potato. The red bliss potatoes are first boiled... More

Seating is limited so go early. Classic diner atmosphere with counter service only. A few steps to access the facility (didn't see a ramp for handicap accessibility). Restroom is outside of diner - ask for the key hanging on the wall. Menu is limited but everything coming out looked great. Took my two daughters to celebrate the end of the... More
