FYI-----22 Broad Street is now closed, permanently, as far as anyone knows. Everything is moved out and there has not been any dining there for several months.

I had the Beef Braciole which was done very well. It was served with green beans that were perfectly sauteed. The service was friendly and attentive from the minute we stepped in the door. It was a great finish to the day to have a...warn, delicious meal after a day of skiing.More

Excellent food, good wine and beer selection, and great service! Can’t be beat and, right across the street from the Bethel Inn. We both had the Chicken Piccata and were blown away by how good it was. A real treat on a cold night.

First time ever dining here, when we walked in the server walking by said hello and that someone would be right with us soon after the bar tender also greeted us and the host came back around and was so kind and helped us move...tables to be closer to the fire. (what a beautiful place) Our server came right over to let us know of the additions and specialty wine. She asked if we had ever dined with them and after saying no she gave us a little information about the building and her personal favorites on both food and drink menu. Our water glasses never got below half, always there topping off our wine glasses and all around making the service the best we have had in a long time. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because of the food.. very mediocre, unseasoned, and lack of presentation. But again our server was right there asking if she could get us anything else, seeing if they could remake it for us and offering other options. She explained that they were training some new kitchen staff and she apologized that it wasn't to our liking and highly suggest that we come back in a couple weeks when she felt like they would be back in full swing. We will 100% be back for the service itself. The perfect amount of professionalism while making us feel right at home. As we were there we even witnessed a table that wasn't hers tip her for helping them and being so friendly. Thank you kaya for the best table service we have had in years.More

We read the trip advisor reviews and decided to give this place a try. We were not disappointed. We had arrived in town that evening and did not have a reservation. We were seated immediately and promptly served. The food was good and the calamari...was excellent. We would visit this establishment again.More

My husband and I dined there towards the end of December. We had visited the Maine Gem and Mineral Museum in town, and then drove around looking for a place for dinner. Thankfully we found this delightful spot, where a fire had been lit in...the fireplace. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The menu had a nice variety of foods. The serving sizes were just right - not enormous as in some restaurants. I only wish we lived a bit closer, but we will definitely return before too long. A+ in my opinion.More

We go here every end of December to celebrate our anniversary. As usual our food was excellent. I had the T-bone steak and my wife a beef dish. The problem came with the bar service as it was 10 minutes before our pre dinner drinks...arrived and the glasses of wine at the end of our main course. I felt bad for the server as she had no control over the bar. Apparently they have a "martini bar" and it appears that that slowed down the table service. To their credit they did not charge us for the wine. I hope this was a one time event and we will be back again next year to find out.More

Enjoyed a lovely meal but as the bill arrived a waitress had an accident and spilled a glass of red wine over the table and three of the party. They were very apologetic and offered to have garments dry cleaned but this was not practical...given that we were on a tour and leaving at 8.30am the following morning. The bill was soaked in wine too and was quickly removed and reprinted with no discount made and none offered verbally. As such we paid for the food but did not leave a tip to allow for cleaning costs and to save everyone the trouble of sending receipts and arranging reimbursement. Having been unable to remove the stains, one of the party returned to the restaurant and negotiated a $30 refund. Thereafter a further member of the party was telephoned by the Manager of the restaurant and was berated for us not having left a tip and told that the waitress in question would be $30 short! Poor management skills will mean that we will remember this place for all the wrong reasons.More

Thank you for the kind words regarding our food, however, your facts are slightly off. It was unfortunate for everyone that a server at an adjacent table spilled a glass of wine and some of it landed on your parties clothing. We did repeatedly offer...More

We have been eating at this restaurant for the past three years consistently all winter long! This is the best restaurant in town! Always great food & the atmosphere! The portions are large and we always take home our leftovers for lunch the next day....Their Bolognaisse, Penne ala Vodka, and Daily Special Risotto, are only a few of the well loved dishes they serve!More
