We got lobster rolls, while we’re okay, but the service was very slow. The place was packed with indoor seating only. The servers all wore face masks but a busboy didn’t wear one and we were up against other diners without masks. I’m not particularly...paranoid about Covid but I’m from Massachusetts where I’m used to more precautions being taken.More

Great place. A bit crowded but we found a great spot up stairs end of bar. Bartender was great. Chicken pot pie was perfect and the pot roast was as well. Talk about portions....my my. Definitely worth it. Priced a bit on high side but...I would say worth it.More

We came for a week from Brooklyn,NYC to experience the mountains and lakes of Maine. While exploring local food places we had lunch at the Rooster’s Roadhouse. Upon entering the restaurant we asked to be seated and one of the waitresses stated: “read the sign,...sit yourself”. We enjoyed the outdoor sitting so we found our way to the back of the restaurant. The food was good but some items on the combo plates were missing. Brooklin, the waitress was great, and made everything right despite the fact that she was dealing with another customer who left the restaurant without paying .More

With dog on tow, we visited Roosters for dinner twice. Friday night I had some of the best fried clams I've had in a while, and I'm from mid-coast Maine! The breading was light, crispy and not the least bit greasy. Sunday night we returned...and we both had the shrimp on spinach and Romaine. While there was no spinach tonight, it did not detract from the salad. There was delicious crispy bacon, sunflower seeds, boiled egg, artichoke hearts, cukes and tomatoes. There were 6 grilled, large shrimp with bits of char on the edges. Delicious!More

The MANAGER was RUDE AND INSULTING TO ME, a customer, when I was trying to tell him of an employee Dora who is Excellent! Dora was great and the food was very good but I will always remember this place with the extremely rude manager....I told him that he was insulting and then I left with a VERY SOUR taste in my mouth.More

Good food, great staff. Unfortunately, the restaurant needs a major overhaul. The carpet in the dining room is disgusting! I couldn't look at it while I was eating.

We had an enjoyable experience with good service, drinks, and meals. Tables were spaced apart and bar customers were separated as appropriate.

My family has been going there for at least 10 years and we've never made a reservation for 4 or 5 of us, and we've never had to wait to be seated, either. For 8, well maybe I would depending on the time.
