Located on the access road to the Sunday River Ski Resort, the Sunday River Brewing Company offers a fun, casual atmosphere with an eclectic mix of locals, tourists and craft beer drinkers. We are open 7 days a week at 6 AM, specializing in mouth-watering burgers,artisan-fired pizza and fresh DONUTS made everyday. Fun in the summertime

This is a great, fun spot, indoors and out to have pub style food. We all enjoyed our meals, folks really liked the locally brewed beer, our waitress was terrific, (sorry I forgot her name). And very kid friendly.

This place is amazing. The people are so friendly and warm from the minute you walk in. You feel like you are dining with family rather than strangers. The lobster macaroni and cheese is highly recommended and is the best I have ever tasted. The dark ale is perfect. The servers are so nice and very attentive. The restaurant is clean and spacious, bright and full of life.

Perfect way to top off the day after hiking at Old Speck.

Always a friendly greeting and seated quickly. Servers are attentive to your order and the food is prepared quickly. Had a bison burger that was absolutely perfect. The fried fiddleheads made for a perfect appetizer. The batter was flavorful without being heavy or greasy.

Wanted to try this under new management, not impressed at all! Got chicken cordon bleu, small dried out over cooked in a pool of butter,, husband got fish and chips.. dried out dog fish.. sorry to say I’ll take the old brewpub back savages savages any day!!

Our ski club had a great meal!

Went with a group on a Tuesday night and we got excellent service! Many beers to choose and I loved the Stout. Very creamy with the essence of Chocolate about it. However, when I brought a 32 ounce can home it was bitter. I had the lettuce wedge with salmon for about $18.

Okay so to be honest, we only visited and dined here because we wanted to show our support to the owner because he stood up to the State/Govener for his restaurant and hopefully helped others!!! For that we give FIVE bubbles!!! I never realized how big the restaurant was. Great outdoor seating, super friendly staff. The donuts looked amazing, but we did not try. Sat on the deck with a cold pint and had some lunch. Kinda on the pricey side, we tried a hotdog and a steak and cheese which was okay, but next time we will try something else. We did purchase a hat so we can continue to advise this establishment!

Tourists actually eat this garbage

Amazing how this place has good reviews from out of staters, yet the locals find this place absolutely disgusting. Goes to show how little faith you should put in reviews I guess. While the tourists are eating this garbage food, anyone else who knows this place avoids it like the plague. Food is bad, obviously using cheap ingredients, service is nonexistent, and the owner is a celebrity in his own mind, but a man-baby in everyone else’s. Made the mistake of eating here recently when it was the only place open in town - I should have just chosen to starve. Never. Again.

Delicious food! We got carry out... veggie burger and sweet potato fries were filling and tasty. French onion soup was good as well. We also had to grab some maple bacon donuts- AMAZING!!!

Overpriced mediocre food

We’ve been coming for years and recently the price of the food keeps increasing a lot while the quality has gone down dramatically. The nacho appetizer for about $25 ( with guacamole and Sour cream) had no cheese! The salad starts at $16-18 but then adding chicken is $7. If you want to substitute a side salad instead of fries it is $7 extra! Two of the three women’s bathrooms were broken and dirty. Service was great but for bar food not cooked very well this place is disappointing.

A Delightful Meal Experience

Able to sit outside in some shade and enjoy a well-oiled food operation. Due to a change in the brewer many beers were not available (coming soon). That was a shame, but I enjoyed the 4 beers they were serving as a sampler and chose to enjoy a glass of the excellent stout. Wine is available and can't go wrong with a Whitehaven SB. All the staff are super friendly. Our lovely lady was Heather, and she was brilliant, friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable and efficient. The 3-pretzel plate was excellent followed by two salads the Brew Pub and the Wedge, both large portions well presented, and tasty. We took some home to go.

Some of the best staff in the state.

Very good pub grub, most likely better than very good beer but we did not partake. The staff here is excelent in a day and age where you are happy to just get food served with or without a snarl. Not at Sunday River Brewing Co. some of the most wonderful staff we have encountered in a very long time.

Not only was there no social

Not only was there no social distancing of 6 ft between tables but none of the staff wore masks or gloves. When we asked our server she said the owner was leaving that choice to the individuals working there. I’m getting tested next week.

We haven’t been up here for a few years and went to SR Brewing Co. tonight. I can honestly say I have never had food as sub par as this was tonight. Our fries and onion rings were cooked in old grease and were cold and hard. Have never had chicken fingers as bad as these. They were cooked in the same old grease and were almost unidentifiable on the plate. I would take McDonalds over this food any day. It’s really hard to mess up this standard food as bad as they did. Also, all the bad reviews you are reading are true. Too bad they use to be a good beer/burger place. Now I wouldn’t eat there literally if you paid me.

No Masks!!!

A quaint brewhouse. Has a sign on front door stating, " face cloth required to enter". Not one employee wearing masks or gloves. Saw one employee bringing out donuts while whistling over the donuts. A disappointment to see the lack of consideration by employees.

They did not seem to be following COVID guidelines

The minute I walked through the door, something looked odd to me. First, they didn't ask for a name or phone number for Contact Tracing. Next, the Server that came to the table was not wearing a mask. I also noticed people sitting at the bar in groups with little or no distance between them. Aside for the slightly uncomfortable feeling, the beer selection was pretty good and the food was decent.
