Large portions, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Standard breakfast fare. What more could one want?

The Crossroads Diner in Bethel, Maine is terrific! The breakfasts are the best meal there. The homemade bread makes the breakfast sandwich exceptional! The other breakfast options are all good. Service is a bit slow but it is a good place to start your day.

I went here with some family. We had breakfast (typical eggs, toast, and homefries). It was pretty good - not really better or worse than typical diner food. The toast was huge compared to other diners, though. The waitress was pleasant and courteous. The atmosphere was pretty busy - there was barely an empty seat. This was a Sunday morning... More

We stopped here for dinner, but they were doing construction and the noise was unbearable, so we left. Went back on Sunday morning for breakfast and we were so glad we did! The food is great! The service, however, was quite dismal. Our waitress just totally forgot about us (we had to sit outside), so I had to keep flagging... More

We have been here several years now. This is the first place we hit after camping and they never disappoint. Interesting sandwiches. Friendly staff. Breakfasts looked large and delicious too. Stop in if you are in the area.

The lobster roll was on the "specials" board. I'm not sure if it's always on the menu. I don't know how they manage to serve lobster that tastes so absolutely fresh! I've never had a lobster roll that tasted better. Not even when I made it myself. Whenever I've saved cooked lobster for the next day it gets a little... More

Slow to non existing service. We were the only ones here but we had to ask for our drinks twice and dinner took for ever. Would not recommend

After days on the road, it was great to have a delicious dinner of home style food. We enjoyed the atmosphere too.

The food was really exceptional and a good value. I will return again next year with the River Rock Festival. So much food I was able to bring it to my hotel room for later!
