The Village Inn and Tavern is in a gorgeous location and is a very charming space. The restaurant was charming and the food -- we had the duck and two salads -- was delicious. The servers were also lovely, as were the hosts at the...More
Waited for 45 minutes to have even bread brought over and an order to be taken.

I LOVED THIS PLACE. Everything was great. Appetizer of cauliflower crust pizza was amazing. Dinners were beautifully presented and more than we could eat. Views were terrific, overlooking Great Pond, which is what the writer was writing about when he wrote “On Golden Pond”. Fabulous.
Wedge salad is excellent, and ample for two as is a 1/2 Duck.
Be sure to ask for extra crispy, it's a satisfying meal, well prepared and delicious.
Pies come from Hello Good Pie (also in the village) and are well worth the calories!
