Very good duck, big portions but slightly pricie. Service was fair, nice view of the lake, can eat outside, in bar or in the dinning room.

There are places to eat in this area but most are informal or chains in the larger towns. It was a pleasure to find a white tablecloth restaurant, with a good and varied menu and a decent wine list. The duck is a specialty and the clam chowder outstanding. They had just opened for the season so I'm not sure... More

I have eaten at the Village Inn for many, many years. There have been changes, different owners, menu options and their B and B. But some things don't change, the wonder view and their food is consistently good. I usually get the duck, love the variety of sauces. But this time I couldn't resist the big perfectly cooked scallops. The only negative is the noise level. It... More

Our group of 7 ate in the tavern (lower level) and enjoyed a wonderful meal. We were alone in this room this time and had a great time. Meals were exceptional, drinks were great but we had an altercation with the server. It seems some people had ordered a soup and it was delivered very late. It wasn't the lateness,... More

This is one restaurant where you can dress up for a change. The place was full but with reservations we were seated immediately. Needless to say duck being the specialty and our first time back in a few years, we had duck. My husband had the quarter duck and not wanting to mess with bones I had the medallions on... More

We had the chowder (very good), oysters Rockefeller (good), and split a half duck with Thai lemongrass sauce (outstanding). Renee provided well above average service. Would definitely return.

We had a wonderfully relaxing dinner which included a signature cocktail, a bruschetta appetizer, "kicked up linguini," and butternut ravioli in a creamy, tastily seasoned béchamel sauce… ALL delicious! The restaurant is located in a quaint village along a peaceful stream (lovely view from the dining room) and is also adjacent to the setting sun over Long Pond. Friendly and... More

I've been coming to Belgrade my whole life and a trip is not complete without dinner at The Village Inn. Beautiful views all around and even boat access from Great Pond. Although known for their duck, I personally wait all year for the Lobster Ravioli!
