Every August we have our Anniversary dinner at the Village Inn. The Inn has some of the best duck and rack of lamb we've ever had! All went well until the check arrived. Simply put, we were charged $4. For exchanging squash with green beans and $.75 for exchanging roasted potatoes with mashed. Considering they're both on the menu, we... More

I enjoyed having dinner here twice during this week's stay in Belgrade Lakes. The setting on Great Pond is very nice, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The salmon and lamb were cooked correctly and were delicious. My date enjoyed the roasted duck and duck breast. Good portions. The service was prompt and friendly. The beverage selection was appealing.Live music... More

We have been going to the Village Inn for years -- it has been a family favorite for both small gatherings and big groups. This year, we managed to enjoy dinner there twice, and both times it was excellent. The rack of lamb is delicious, the diver scallops fabulous, and some of the other entrees, especially the duck, are always... More

The food and service was great and so was the location. However the food was extremely expensive and not worth the cost of what they charge. I'd say skip it and go some place where you'll get more for your money.

We always try to visit the Village Inn whenever we are in the Belgrade area and have the Roast Duck which is the best anywhere. The food was fabulous and actually better than ever. We went back five days later so we could try some other menu selections. Again it was great and the Salmon was done to a "T".... More

Three of us Decided to try the Village Inn and arrived at 7:00 pm on a Saturday night without a reservation. Place was packed so we ended up at a table in the bar. Ordered drinks and got great service. Our food was quite good- fresh salad with shrimp, a vegetarian ravioli, and a burger. All were awesome. Pleasant surprise.... More

Wife and I celebrated our Anniversary there and both had excellent food. Couple of minor things kept us from rating 5 stars. Had to bunch up rug on dining room floor to get a chair to not rock back and forth. Had to ask waitress to turn down A/C to keep from freezing! (They complied and made it much more... More

Ate here mid-week during prime tourist season. Seated at a very nice table at window overlooking the lake. We chose clam chowder and the wedge salad as appetizers. No problem with a request to omit the apricot glaze on salmon main course. The other main course, kicked up linguine with shrimp, was prepared with perfect spicing. Each item was well... More

First of all, the service is wonderful. We ate there twice because it's about the only game in town, and some of the entrees were better than others. Highly recommend the duck (including the duck quesadillas) and the steamed lobster. Salads were fresh. We didn't try dessert. I didn't love the butternut squash ravioli (heavy sauce) or the zucchini sticks... More

Very good duck, big portions but slightly pricie. Service was fair, nice view of the lake, can eat outside, in bar or in the dinning room.
