Very good selection of organic, gluten free foodstuffs. Great selection of fresh locally sourced fruits and veggies. A bit pricey, but if you frequent Whole Foods, it's comparable in price. If I lived in Belfast, I would definitely join.

Don't expect major brand foods for sale here. What you get is custom branded foods, bulk packaged grains, coffees, etc. A great deli. Organic selections. A real fun place to shop for food.

Hippie haven!! This is one of the best grocery stores I have been to. Has everything you need to eat healthy. Prices are very reasonable and it was right next door to the Belfast Bay Inn where we were staying. Great place to grab drinks and snacks.

I always go in here when I am in town. The selection is great. From veggies to wine, they have it all. A bit pricey but that is the same as home for me. Everyone is helpful. They have a small restaurant and a prepared foods counter to save you from cooking if you so desire. Stop in!

Walking by, went in "on a whim" What a surprise. A great food (prepped, packaged and snacks) and beverage selection. If I loved in Belfast I would def become a member of this co-op.

The Belfast Co-op has a mediocre variety of healthy and organic options. The food we purchased was good but pricier even when considering the quality. The service was only alright. The staff is clearly more friendly towards the locals and silent toward the vacationers like ourselves. Not the welcoming atmosphere I expected.

Great Cobb salad, loved it! Neat store with plenty of organic choices, the cafe had a great menu! Great place close to the Belfast Breeze Inn to buy wine.

The COOP is a Belfast institution and is probably one of the best run food coops in the country. You don't need to be a member to shop here. They have some outside tables to sit and enjoy a morning coffee and pastries or breakfast sandwich. The people are very friendly. We typically choose Belfast as one of our stops... More

I love this store! Lots of healthy food choices and the cafe offers delicious food! Seriously, you want to eat somewhere different that isn't your typical fare, you need to give them a try! They have lots of goodies in there...check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Every morning look for a variety of items to start your day. We serve egg and cheese based breakfast sandwiches and burritos, as well as baked items from local bakeries. We offer a fantastic selection of organic and fair trade coffees from local vendors in a variety of different roasts as well as organic and fair trade teas. Eggs, bagels, breads, gluten free breads, and tofu are all locally laid or made. On weekends the deli offers breakfast from 8:00am to 10:45am. The breakfast menu is an expansion of our breakfast offerings during the week including eggs any way, omelets, home fries, breakfast burritos, huevos rancheros, and a daily breakfast special. All selections are or can be made vegan or gluten-free. In addition to our standing menu, the deli crew is always busy cooking up specials, hot entrees, pizza, burritos, and soups to wow the imagination. Utilizing organic and local vegetables, local breads, clean meats, and natural and organic raw ingredients, the deli strives to offer the healthiest mix of good food around. Have to grab something on the go? No worries...we've got you covered. Choose something from our service or grab n' go cases. These items are meant to be quick, easy, and nutritious. We've got something for everyone and it always hits the spot!
