Excellent food, slow service but worth the wait. For years the restaurant was inside an old house with the kitchen in full view; now they are in a spot that is harder to find and not as appealing, but the food remains excellent.

We were a hungry, tired, big group after the Commonground Fair, and everything in Belfast was closed or busy. We were recommended this place by a local, and it was our salvation. They were very gracious hosts!!!!! The vegetable soup was so good we gobbled up 3 of them immediately. Everything we ordered was amazing...the host was very friendly- this... More

I just left Seng Thai and I am very happy! I have not had any good Eastern food up here, so I was apprehensive going in. I had the chicken satay and the curry chicken (level 3 heat...not burning hot and will try hotter next time). Extremely delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful describing the food. The view... More

My wife, Maggie, and I had a totally fine… No, a wonderful meal here. We had been eating a fair bit of Seafood (lobster in particular). Being from Pennsylvania, that is to be expected. What isn't expected is to find a really top notch Thai restaurant around here. The restaurant was recommended by the owners of our bed and breakfast... More

We've been coming through Belfast every year for more than 10 years and always eat at Seng Thai. They serve very fresh authentic Thai. Given the choice of a lobster dinner or this Thai we chose Thai!

Owner Amy, her mother and her brother are the dish designers for this delectable seaside pearl. From the iced Thai teas, to the fried cheesecake desserts topped with fresh berries, to the Thai BBQ chicken, to the outrageously delicious appetizers, which are all freshly and daily prepared by this lovely family, you must come here and experience it all for... The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. The chefs clearly care about ensuring that their product is incredible. Many dishes can be served vegetarian or vegan. However, the owner doesn't seem to be able to retain good waitstaff. They change frequently. Sometimes, you get somebody who cares about the customer's experience. Too often, you don't.

For years we've been enjoying the food at Seng Thai on Route 1, Belfast. Now in its improved location (for several years), we also enjoy wonderful views of Penobscot Bay.

The food is good, the atmosphere is limited. But it is likely the best Asian restaurant in the area, with both Thai and Chinese offerings. There are some slightly unusual choices which I enjoy, like papaya salad.
