Stopped for breakfast on our way to the airport in Portland. Hard to find, it's below a shop on the main street in downtown. But with the stars on the side of the building we figured it out! Neat place, gave your order to the owner/chef cooking and then pick out where to sit. Food was wonderful! After you clean... More

The food that I and my companions had was very good and at correct temperatures. We stayed with the soups and sandwiches. Quite a variety to choose from. But I doubt if I would go again. It is a small place and when we went it was very noisy and crowded..Not conducive to a relaxing lunch and conversation. Sometimes it... More

Got the suggestion to eat lunch here from staff at the Bath Regional Info Ctr. Commendable advice. We had two different salads and two different sandwiches, which hit the spot. But everything on the menu looked delicious. Small place with the requisite funk (that's a good thing).

This is a small place located on a side street right off the Main Street in bath. It seats about 25-30 people it is very tight inside. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The menu has plenty of choices and they serve breakfast all day. We opted for sandwiches, we both made our... More

We were headed on a tour about ship building in Bath so I checked T.A to see what the masses thought were the best places for breakfast in Bath. No surprise, it was starlight café. And once we were in the door we saw why. Very homey, down to earth, great people serving amazing food. Every table had a different,interesting... More

This was our second visit and it is still a good breakfast/lunch place. Reasonable prices, delicious breakfast and lunch options, cozy atmosphere. We always got lunch, but breakfast is served all day. They are open until 2pm. The breakfast plates we saw being served while we waited were awesome looking. Our lunches were always excellent.

Visited here following previous trip adviser reviews. We were not disappointed. Very welcoming atmosphere and well priced food. Visiting from UK. Set us up for the day. Breakfasts were really satisfying.

We had lunch there (they close at 2pm) and opted for 2 of their specials - hubby had the lobster roll with avocado and a green salad and I had the Greek omelet with toast and home made potatoes. The omelet was very good but I still regret not having picked the roll - it was just to die for... More

Cute cafe with delicious food in a laid back setting. I had a breakfast sandwich with their homemade sausage and it was the best breakfast sandwich I've had. Also ordered a side of fruit that was fresh and ripe. So good! Worth the trip from Edgecomb where we were staying.

Thank Diana J
