Good service, okay food, gets crowded in season. Very casual. While not necessarily the best restaurant in town there aren't many to choose from, and it's likely to be open. Has a bar and outside food service.

We ate lunch here on a recommendation of the owner of the B & B where we stayed. We each had lobster rolls that were very good. Dressed just enough for flavor but not buried in mayo. The beer choices were varied and the fries were outstanding. They were crispy on the outside but very soft inside. Just the way... More

I ordered the special of the day Pesto Scallops. It came with a caesar salad which consisted of a few lettuce leaves and big chunks of cheese. The scallops were swimming in a bowl of melted butter. I didn't see the pesto but presumed that it was the reason for the green tinged scallops. It was a mess and the... More

Stayed at the hotel across the street and decided to just go to the closest place to eat , as it was late. Ate outside and it was lovely. The food was good , had a baked stuffed lobster and my friend had the haddock sandwich with fries which she enjoyed. Frozen drinks were great and prices were very reasonable... More

Great place. Good food, attentive service and friendly. Inside or outside seating all with river views. Well worth your time and money. Try the home made hot sauce, it's excellent. Clearly the best option in town.

We stopped by for pie and tea and had a wonderful visit at the Kennebec waterside tavern. Great service by waitress Elaine.

My wife and I tried this recommended eatery on 7/15 at 5 pm and was told 15 minute wait. Plenty of empty tables Waited about an hour with the hostess saying "it won't be much longer" every 15 minutes. They were understaffed? In the height of the summer season :( Finally we were seated and the atmosphere would have been... More

Sitting outside on a hot day with sea breezes was a perfect way to cool off after the beach. Haddock sandwich was very good and the fries are done just right. Scallop Po-Boy was light on scallops with only four on a hamburger bun with lettuce and tomato. Go for the outdoor dining experience.

My husband and I ate at this lovely waterside tavern while we were visiting Bath, Me on our vacation. We both enjoyed the crab cake sandwich platter and local beer. It was an enjoyable meal for both of us! This is an inexpensive place to enjoy a meal in coastal Maine.

Ate a late supper since we got in late at the hotel across the street. My wife and I were impressed with the food and the price. The service was great because of the time of day. Our waitress was very helpful in her recommendations and so we were not disappointed. The clam chowder was the best and the clams... More
