This was the first bar we went to on vacation and I loved it. We stopped in before going to dinner to have a few drinks. The bartender was super sweet and gave us a wonderful recommendation for Thai food. We enjoyed talking to the locals as well. Next time I'd probably get a bite to eat when I go... More

The food is very good and very filling. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Turkey BLT sandwich and I rather liked my cheese BLT. I also ordered a baked potato which was smothered in cheese. My husband cleaned his plate, but I was so happily full that I couldn't finish the potato. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We didn't... More

I've ever been here twice and both times have been a good experience. The place looks like a pub that might be more about drinking than decent food, but both times our party has been very satisfied. Good food, great service, and a real pub atmosphere.

My wife and kids (12 & 17) went to this pub for an early dinner. Inside it appeared to be a traditional Irish pub. The beer list was extensive and the lemonade had free refills and was very good. The waitress was spectacular and service was fast and courteous. The wings were even better than we had hoped for, and... More

The beer is cold but the food selection is limited. Don't get me wrong- the food is really good but the selection is very limited and the menu hasn't changed in years. We go there once or twice a month and it is consistent. Local hangout and a local favorite. Try it.

DO NOT GO ON Sunday nights. The bearded bartender was rude. Righteous. Condescending. Words cannot say. My partner ordered a drink for me as per usual and when it was half full I asked "how did we do it wrong?" He told us, but didn't care , shrugged his shoulders and turned away. We talked to better understand, then he... More

My wife and I met friends here for the first time about a month ago. We all found this to be a charming, old fashion Irish pub with delightful atmosphere, great service, and really good food at reasonable prices. Also, the draft beer choices aren't too shabby either. Anyway, we found it all so good that we returned again last... More

We lucked into this place on a night when they had a bagpipe band(?) playing. The owner even sang a few songs. Although obviously a local place, we were made to feel welcome. The food was delicious, especially the Guinness bread. The bangers and mash were the best I've ever had, including the numbers of times that I've eaten bangers... More

My husband I go to Byrnes each time we visit my home state of Maine. It has a comfortably worn look, and it seems to be a favorite of the locals. I always order a BLT sandwich on marble rye--rich and satisfying!

The pub was decorated in the dark wood style of Irish pubs. There were police badges around the door, pictures of Ireland, and cute sayings posted on the walls. My Shepherd's pie was sumptuous and my husband's pastrami sandwich was very rich. The turkey & rice soup was outrageous! I tried to get the recipe but the cook wasn't in... More
