It's lobster, if you want chicken or beef go somewhere else. Get the whole thing but if you get a big one ask the kitchen to crack the claws. The lightweight cracker at the table won't do it. Take it from a whole crustacean eating expert. You won't be disappointed. Great service and friendly staff. Not cheap but worth it.

It's a lobster house plain and simple. They do lobster and they do it right. IF you're game for the whole thing have the kitchen crack the claws because the cracker at the table is a lightweight utensil. Take it from a seasoned eater of the crustacean.

My sister had a wedding reception here. The staff was friendly and attentive. The view was excellent as well. The only downside was it became really hot after about an hour during the rush dinner time, and luckily it cooled back down after. The food was plentiful and delicious. The kids loved the mac and cheese.

Great fresh lobster, so so clam chowder. (needed more clams). Nice, clean and good food. We didn't have reservations, but it was September. I'm sure in the summer this place is packed.

Cook's is located on it's own spit of land near the Cribstone Bridge on Bailey's Island. Besides it's gorgeous setting, under new ownership and management, the food is very good. The servers are friendly, happy to answer any questions one may have about the menu. Other than the usual lobster and fish offerings, they have a very nice lobster BLT,... More

Very popular restaurant and lobster pound, beautifully situated on a spit of land between the eastern side cove and the bay including Harpswell Harbor. Exploring the shore reveals shells and sea glass. They used to have a "touch" tank but I'm not sure it is there any longer. Very nice outdoor seating on the deck. They are a large restaurant... Sorry to say, we can't recommend Cook's. We visited it about three We We ate at Cook's three years ago, the new owner can,t hold a candle to the old ownership. We returned to expect the same quality meal that we originally experienced. The whole belly fried clams were the smallest I ever had, my wife's calamari was not as... More

Hello. Sorry you had a bad experience at Cook's. We will always take ownership of bad food or service so for that I do apologize. I would like address a couple of concerns I have. First, the size of the fried clams is completely out of our control, they are freshly dug from the waters of Casco Bay. We have... More

Tourists visiting scenic Bailey Island can find the usual lobster and fish options at this nicely located lobster shack. The view makes up for shortcomings in the menu and service.

We went to Cook's for the combined 60th and 75th birthdays of my mother and my aunt. There were 5 adults and my 6 month old son. We arrived at the very beginning of dinner, because many of the negative reviews we saw cited long wait times for food or service. Few tables were occupied when we arrived, but another... More
