My wife and I have been going to Cook's for over 20 years and have seen a steady decline, or perhaps just very consistent inconsistency, as the previous owners seemed not to care after about the year 2000. Learning about your new ownership we had high hopes that it would once again be the great place it used to be.... More

We visited this tiny island, and were glad we stopped for lunch at Cook's. We sat outside, on the deck, to enjoy the water view. A wonderful array of beers and drinks started us with our Peel & Eat shrimp. Then on to clams and a haddock sandwich, although the lobster roll looked chocked full of chunks of lobster at... More

The Cooks Lobster house has added many taps of local brew to it bar and has changed the bar area slightly. The food is very good but portions for the money are a little small but acceptable. The do have one of the best views in the area as the ocean basically surrounds the dining room which is all glass.... More

We came here as a part of a pre wedding lunch with about 10 people. I found the place absolutely delightful. The Bloody Mary with a lobsta tail instead of an olive or whatever, was the bomb. Not cheap but worth it. The entrees we ordered were well prepared and tasty. I am a sucker for lobster rolls and mine... More

I found the chowder to be fresh, the lobster is wonderful, the view is the best around. Great place to put your feet up and soak up the view & to watch the fireworks display!

My wife and I visited Cook's for our 30th anniversary dinner. I was looking for a place that served seafood as well as, steaks or chicken plus it had to have a view of the water. Cook's fit the bill. I had the seafood broil, which was very tasty. My wife had the meatloaf, which had cheese and mushrooms and... More

Awesome calamari, which was cooked perfectly. The pulled pork sandwich was good, however main problem with the sandwich it did not come out hot was on the luke warm side. Portions were a good size. Service was good. Great views from either inside or out. We would rEturn.

Cook's is a nice simple restaurant. There is ample seating and the views are great. The food is simple, and plentiful and well prepared for what it is. This is not a fancy place, but we left there feeling sated and pleased with the choice. They have an extensive local beer list, both bottled and on draft, and it allowed... More

We had lunch and then a dinner at Cooks during our stay on Bailey Island. During lunch it was fun to watch the working docks and the sunset views were amazing. We ate in the restaurant and then head outside to their fire pit and Adirondack chairs to watch the sunset. The food was delicious and they had some great... More
