By far, the best seared tuna steak ever. Taste great and the portion size is above average. Whether you're there to eat or meet up with friends, it's a cool place to go!

We had 2 dinners there and everything was great, including prices. The crawfish with Chardonnay was wonderful. Rachel has been very helpful and seemed not afraid by our French accent.

Always a good meal to be had, food is pretty tasty and it's a very relaxed atmosphere. Crawfish boil is the best thing they have if you're lucky enough to go there in season.

This is just an average place. This place has went down hill since the last time I was there. The staff was nice and friendly. The food was not where it should be for the price. I loved the fish tank.

I love this Place, every time we come here for work, we always come here to eat. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes with the crab bisque they put on them. I didn't need to order a meal after that. It was amazing.

My family and I eat at Sammy's several times a year. The food is great and so is the atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and the wait staff are knowledgable about their menu.

On this business trip to LA I was surprised at how hard it was to find food on the Cajun side of things. Most of the food is Creole or just fried. The blackened gator was perfectly done with not too much searing and just a dusting of spice. I had a catfish and crawfish dish with a cream sauce... More

Sammy's is the place to kick back and enjoy local cuisine served by a competent and friendly staff. It is a bit noisy but I suppose that is to be expected with the tavern atmosphere and great bar service. There is also comfortable outdoor seating available. Arrive early or send someone ahead to get on the list for a table... More

This is one of several Sammy's located in and around Baton Rouge. This one is in Zachary. Place is immaculate. We arrived around 1:45 in the afternoon so it was not extremely busy. We ordered 1/2 of a Po-Boy and a cup of soup. This is not on the menu. Our half po-boy was loaded with fried shrimp. In fact... More

We eat at this restaurant a lot. If you go to ZACHARY, it is a must. The food is amazing and the service is good. It is always busy, so allow enough time to relax and enjoy the experience.
