We have visited Thibodaux for the Manning Football Camp two years in a row and one thing we look forward to is eating at Bubba's II. The food is out of this world delicious, the amount of food you get on one plate is enough for two people, and the owner ALWAYS has a smile on his face!!

We meet here with family a few times a year when visiting Thibodaux. A bit of a mini-family reunion with the local clan. It has always been one of our favorite restaurants. However, the last few visits have been a disappointment. The prices have been going up and value getting worse. I ordered the shrimp etoufee/fried shrimp special and the... More

As a vegetarian who also eschews fried foods, this is not my sort a place to eat out. But as a journalist writing about Louisiana with 18 other media, we were brought here to sample a little Cajun down-home cooking. It's a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere in the diner, different rooms to dine in, and lots of memorabilia on... More

Very average. Po-boy loaded with meat/shrimp but very bready. Gumbo with a dark roux, but ok. Owner was very nice. Just expected more from reading reviews. Just average for me.

The front desk lady at our motel suggested Bubba's II, and I think she meant the other location. this place is very laid back. You go up to the counter and order. The food is all served on disposable dishes. We were there on a Tues evening, so it was not crowded. I got the fried thin catfish and shrimp... More

This area is known for good seafood and Bubba's is pretty good also. But the staff aren't too attentive at all and you can go down the street to Griffin's and get just as good a po-boy and the service is much more friendly and attentive

Walk up and order (like fast food) a really good Po boy sandwich, Bubba's has friendly atmosphere and casual dining setup, but if you would rather go to a more conventional restaurant go to their other place also called Bubba's II. (not sure why). We went mid week and it was not crowded at all and many customers seemed to... More
