You cannot miss this tiny diner under the giant blue water tower in Slidell. The breakfast varieties and quality are great! I have had everything on the menu and the reason i keep going back is because I never had anything but good southern style food; grits and all!

We have been to LA PINES many times over the years for breakfast & lunch. The cooks have always maintained a steady hand as it pertains to quality & taste. This is home cooked kinds of stuff, nothing fancy, but full of old time flavor. The prices are always reasonable. On this visit I had a great Chicken Fried Steak... More

While visiting Slidell, we were headed to another restaurant when we happened upon this one. Outside is a little sketchy but don't let that fool you. Food is authentic southern and prices right. Place was pack Sunday morning but the service was great and eggs cooked just right. Biscuits were light and fluffy and they never let your coffee cup... More

We went back yesterday after not going for quite some time because we had had some disappointing meals, one being their claim to fame, Guy Fieri Prime rib sandwich. But with the limited places for breakfast in Slidell we decided to give it a go. The building itself, is in desperate need of a deep cleaning on the inside, Both... More

Breakfast was delicious and prepared properly. The Philly steak omelet is great and it looks pretty when presented. Place is very busy, only 1 table empty both times we visited. Large selection on the menu.

This seems like an old Slidell landmark. Lots of locals heat food. We were here for breakfast and got the shrimp omelet with crawfish sauce, very tasty!

LA Pines is a long time Slidell institution. The restaurant is tucked under the water tower on Robert Blvd and easily missed by those not in the know. Locals eat breakfast there for the food, not the ambiance. Good food and a good price.

What can I say.... We get our breakfast from here every Wednesday for our meeting at work. The staff are always so friendly and now know us all by name. The food is always cooked so well. We never have any problems. I love this place

By far the best breakfast in town. It gets packed but worth the short wait. My husband loves the prime rib omelet and their waffles are great too.
