The open view of the kitchen reinforces just how freshly everything is being prepared. Clean, ample sized portions, and a wide variety to select from.

The chef makes the food from excellent sources, he is very good, and the food is second to none in Shreveport and Louisiana. I would put him up against Besh and others in Louisiana. We have tried almost the entire menu and nothing has been less than outstanding.

Nice family restaurant, very friendly staff, very fast service. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was really good. The buns are homemade there and it was fantastic. Make sure you stop and enjoy.

Cute neighborhood place with excellent salads, gumbo and po'boys. We were told to get there early 1115ish, and by the time we left every table was full. I had a small shrimp po'boy and chicken and sausage gumbo, and both were excellent. The atmosphere is very homey, quaint and friendly. Would like to return on a future visit.

I only voted average because it's not over the top. But it is fantastic! The chicken salad on homemade bread is really good. And the dessert that comes with the meal is decadent and a perfect ending to a good lunch.

I love the catfish platter. The fish is fried to perfection in cornmeal and it comes with great coleslaw and pickled tomatoes on the side. Love the local flavor of the place as well. Also, they make their own buns for the burgers. They are great as well.

My wife loved her salad and almost lick her plate and it was a good portion of food, but my poorboy was average and satisfying. I would eat there again and try something different.

This is a good neighborhood restaurant that has hot lunches and sandwiches. Their bread is baked on site making it very fresh and tasty. Problem is their small car park keeps one from venturing inside when no open slots are available. Solution is to get there early.

Had to ask my daughter what are we doing here when we pulled up this this off the main road parking lot. She said lunch! Told me we had to get there early and was she right goth there at 11 and by 11:45 nearly everyone of their 30 or so tables were full. Also saw over 50 take out... More
