The food was the best I've had since they were on the river front. It is pricey, but worth it. You have to try the crab claws. They will make your tongue slap your brains out.

We were greeted as old friends and loved the attention paid to us as we waited for seating. Then BAM music and lots of attention to what we wanted (marinated crab claws) and anything else we desired for a night to remember. Late afternoon repast.

Ernest's is a legend in the city but there is nothing like their crab claws. Big, plump and juicy they are in a class by themselves.

Great food and fantastic service. The rib eye steak was incredible. The peach that comes with the steak is amazing. The only that could rival the food would be the service. Patrick was our server. He was phenomenal.

This is a class resturant. I wouldn't go there in jeans and a pull-over. A sports coat and nice shirt is best. I usually go with a coat and tie.
