. There is so much like about The Market, even if from time to time forgiveness may be called for. My wife and I have dined there almost weekly for many years. Like some other reviewers, we, too, have dined at some of the finest...in the US and Europe. . It’s worth noting that two different experiences are possible, maybe more. The bar is definitely casual and welcoming to all. I like it because that’s where the action is, TV’s and all. Through an inside door is a quiet dining room with white table clothes, more intimate and perhaps more relaxing, a place you might want to linger. Same food, same prices, same service. . Karen, the owner, prepares some great food, using the best ingredients she can get. There are many items that are dependably good. Her chicken offerings begin with organic chicken and never disappoint. Her homemade soups are always outstanding. Italian offerings are dependably excellent. She takes personal pride in every aspect of the restaurant. . We sometimes stop at The Market on the way home from a party or even after dining somewhere else. She has an array of deserts broader than anywhere in area. . Regrettably for regulars like us, they get slammed sometimes, and we’ve had to leave for another place, but we know that they are doing their level best, and the big party jamming things will not leave disappointed. Market staff do the most and the best they can in all circumstances. . We go back and back again because we enjoy the whole dining experience, and I highly recommend that you try it and judge for yourself. My wife and I enjoy Michelin-starred food and service, but we never tire of The Market. Located on the south edge of town, it’s worth the time and effort to find. .
