Loved it, everything was fresh and delicious. Had the crab meat enchiladas and at first I was a little unsure but so glad I tried them. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place. Service was outstanding considering we were a large party but he did very well. Prices are a little above average but so was the food and service. Coming... More

From San Antonio so my standards on Mexican food are very high. Queso (cheese sauce), salsa, and chips very good. Rice and beans were terrible (not authentic at all and funny taste), great service and atmosphere. Bill for two people was $41.00 that about sums it up. One thumb up. If your a visitor to the area, "El Potrillo" is... More

I suppose one should call this "upscale" Mexican. It was unlike any Mexican restaurant I have ever been in, and it came highly recommended. One review said the service was slow, and I agree to a point. It was not at all busy when I was there for lunch today, so I sat at the bar figuring the server was... More

Interesting salsa and fantastic guacamole. The menu is not your typical Mexican fare but uniques and tasty dishes. A bit upscale and nice bar.

The food was nothing to rave about and way over priced for what you got. The margaritas were even more disappointing. I ordered one that was suppose to have "fresh watermelon" in it...what I got was a pink colored concoction that tasted like it had been flavored with Watermelon Pucker instead of "fresh watermelon" as the menu had boasted. Next... More

We were looking for a nice place to have dinner and conversation - we sat near the fireplace on a cold rainy evening. The drinks were delicious, cold and had a good pour. The queso blanco with poblano peppers was a nice departure. We wanted to try two different kinds of enchiladas and the kitchen obliged by putting one of... More

The drinks were awesome and the server was very attentive! The environment was very calm and soothing with good noise control. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and checked back often to see how we were doing.

Had dinner here on 1/14. Trent our server was most attentive and knew the menu very well. Took his recommendation on 2 of the four entrees. I had chicken with a couple of shrimp tucked underneath. Had a dark sauce that looked like Mole' . My bride of 34 years had a ribeye and said it was the best she's... More

My husband and I ate at Cantina Laredo in Destin, FL. It was so great that we wanted to eat at the Shreveport location. We were given chips and salsa almost as soon as we sat down. We had 3 servers walk by our booth and were not acknowledged. After 15 minutes a server stopped by our table to take... More

The food was way overpriced for both the amount and the quality of the food. Too much salt, food was delivered room temperature, and without any uniqueness. $90 for 4 for just-ok Mexican food without drinks?
