Sat down and had supper with a friend on Saturday night. I had the crab cake entree which was pretty delicious and a baked stuffed potato that I really enjoyed. The dessert could be a bit bigger portioned, but the waitress we had was extremely nice. I really enjoyed the night eating out there. I may have to return another... More

A simple restaurant in a simple town. The grilled gator was excellent as was the lump crab and the service. They have grilled an fried options of many seafoods which is nice considering most restaurants in these parts only serve fried food.

the food was quite good but they seemed a little disorganized. I also thought it was overpriced for what it was. I did have grilled gator, which was nice as I am gluten free and cannot have it deep fried which is the usual way I have seen it on menus.

Dinner @ 9:45. Open until 11:00. Used reservation app & were greeted immediately by the hostess! We were the only couple in the place! Very quiet & great atmosphere! Food was average however we are very late! We had a wonderful service! Huge menu. Oysters on the half shell very good. We will return!

Had dinner with some good friends that live in New Iberia. This is our favorite place to eat when I come to town. They had an awesome looking grilled flounder. Had the crawfish bisque - good dark roux, with a large stuffed crawfish head, and flavorful stuffing. I had been in New Orleans for a few days so the hamburger... More

Little River Inn is a good restaurant, but can be very expensive. The food is local cuisine. The wait staff are always great. It is a good place for a special event or a get together.

Starting with a snowball stand in 1932 until today, Richard & Lori Hurst are carrying on the family tradition. From St. John Street to on the River, to nestled in the woods, now with two full service restaurants, Poor Boy's Riverside Inn's and Little River Inn's seafood and steaks have remained consistently delicious for over 80 years. Richard and Lori and their loyal staff hope you taste not only delicious Cajun food, but the pride that goes into every dish! The oldest restaurants in Acadiana with a great wine and dessert selection, kid friendly and great atmosphere with a third generation husband and wife team ready to serve and where you'll always find the locals.
