Very expensive, but lots of charm. Sorry to see it close. This restaurant was able to accommodate large groups or it can be an intimate setting also. Full bar. The owner is very well liked in the community. Great location in the middle of downtown New Iberia.

I've dined here before with a large group and had excellent food and service in Sept 2015. However, in May 2016 no one would answer the phone or return a message. The place seems closed. Rumor has it that it is changing hands. Too bad; it was my go to place for dinner in New Iberia.

At first, I didn't want to go here because the locals kind of implied that it was a trendy place to go to. I'm so glad I went. It was very charming, the food was good, and the staff was friendly. I especially loved the history about the bar furniture piece. It was impressive and still had gas lamps in... More

Excellent dinner. Wahoo fish expertly cooked by "a chef from New Orleans." Lovely green beans and some Louisiana Abita beer to enjoy. Learned a lot about the area from the waitstaff.

Fans of James Lee Burke's Dave Robicheaux detective series will recognize Clementine's from the books. Well, I assure you that it's a real place with real (good) food. We had gumbo, fried oysters, pulled pork sliders and Oreo beignets. The good news is you can't go wrong with anything on this menu. Service was fast and friendly and prices were... More

One star is too good for this place. Horrible service, over 2 hours to get the meal, with reservations. Very small plates for high prices, everything cold or lukewarm at best, incomplete orders. To reach the filthy restroom you have to go through a very questionable prep area to reach it out back in a separate building in an equally... More

We were with a bus group of 25 and were seated in the run down back room for dinner. The food was substandard and certainly not fine dining as claimed. There was nothing on our menu that was listed on their website. The food was mostly served cold as if it been sitting a while before delivery. Even the gumbo... More

This is a high end restaurant. The food is very good, and a bit pricey. Cajun food in a fine dining atmosphere.

Could be a really nice place but needs some work. We only stopped in because we needed food quick. We were going to the local playhouse and didn't have a lot of time. I ordered Jambalaya and it was good but my wife's salad didn't look fresh. Service was OK and we did get our food quick enough we could... More
