We drove 90 minutes to get here and it was worth every minute! Hubby had the plate lunch - red beans and a fried pork chop. He's a big eater and almost couldn't finish. Adult daughter had a half seafood platter poboy - fish, shrimp, crawfish and oysters. I had a half oyster poboy and we shared a small seafood... More

We had people in from out of town do we ordered from Bon Creole. The shrimp poor boys are delicious and overstuffed. My roast beef poor boy was to die for, Their gumbo is also great. A catfish basket is my husbands favorite. On Sundays they only serve BBQ meals that are perfect.

Have been eating here for years, the poboys have more seafood on them than you can eat, if you order a whole one you might not be able to eat it all, they have a great seafood gumbo, also on Sunday's they barbecue for lunch, visit with the family you won't be sorry

The poboys are off the chart....huge and overstuffed. The place is small and deceptive....typical hole in the wall - small town place..... But the food is very good. On Sundays only they serve BBQ meals (Beef brisket, ribs, chicken, sausage) that are so good that they always run out of them....which can be frustrating. I would advise you to call... More

Had BBQ plate lunch. Pretty good just a little too much sauce for me. They were very busy & place was loud.

We ordered crawfish etoufee from here for my wedding catering and it was wonderful, maybe the best I've had in Acadiana.

Ate here with a large wedding party. Everyone had a different Po Boy. Oysters were really good. Better than any we had anywhere else in Lafayette and this is a really good "dive". Had Gumbo and though it was not what I'm used too ( more thin) but tasty. Shrimp and Oyster Po Boy were really good. Bread Pudding was... More

Bon Creole is a hidden treasure with not signage. But once you find it, you will never forget it. The food is delicious. The shrimp po' boys are wonderful. The seafood is so fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is a real treasure. True Cajun. A must try.
