We no longer have a Copeland's in our area so I was happy we saw they were still open somewhere. The service was good but my favorite Artichoke dip appetizer wasn't as great as I remembered it being.
But maybe not soon enough. Waitstaff was inattentive and the bathrooms were a wreck. My husband was told his order was not available (it was an appetizer item, not a special) 15 minutes after he put in the order. The grease needs to be changed in the fryer. Very disappointing overall! We've been copeland's fans for years, and this was... More
We ate here two times over a two week period. The first evening there was a jazz band - they were good but sooooo loud you could not hear anything!!! Food ok - expensive for what we received. Second time was lunch, quiet and nice atmosphere but again- food not excellent. I have had similar quality food at basic chain... More
I am always in the mood for Shrimp and Grits. However, Copeland's dish left me disappointed. The small scoop of dry grits were surrounded by a moat of their Cajun Gravy that couldn't get the grits creamy enough for my taste. And the 5 shrimp that capped the dish were small and overcooked. Luckily I ordered a piece of fried... More
Hostess was determined to sit me at the bar in an empty restaurant. When I refused she looked at me with a resting wench face, and then seated me in an 8 person booth. Spinach and artichoke dip was meh. The blackened chicken with crawfish Étouffée was wonderful. The mushroom dressing underneath had no texture. I tried their signature red... More
Enjoyed a delicious apple and blue cheese salad then the small plates Pecan crusted catfish. Both were delicious. The meal was topped off with a slice of red velvet cheesecake! Definitely worth a visit to Copelands when in Monroe! The servers were attentive and great conversation (Roland)!
Wow just Wow. Red Beans and Rice with Fried catfish. Can't express how wonderful this was. Best catfish I have ever tasted and I have eat a lot of catfish in my 68 years. Red beans and rice was also best ever. I lived in Louisiana for over 20 years so I know red beans and rice. Can't wait to... More
Who knew!? While visiting The Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City, I had a chance to catch up with a friend for lunch. Where is the best place to lunch? Copeland's Cheesecake Factory! When we glanced at the menu we were pleasantly surprised to discover the newest addition to the menu was Chicken and Waffles---score!!! I detected a slight hint of... More
This Restaurant has very Good Service, Food came out in a timely manner, was hot and the staff was personable. My family and I had a great time eating, sharing and fellowshipping here. When in Monroe again, we will definitely visit Copeland's of New Orleans. Thank You for such Grand Service.
